Story
Junior Bear honestly looks like someone accidentally combined a sad old grandpa, a baby polar bear, and Sid from Ice Age into one dog and somehow… it works perfectly LOL. This poor guy was in rough shape when he was first found and looked more like a little naked mole rat than a fluffy Great Pyrenees mix, but watching him slowly transform has honestly been so special. His coat is already coming back in beautifully and while we can’t guarantee exactly how fluffy he’ll end up being, we can confidently say he is becoming cuter by the day. Between the permanently expressive facial expressions, the little tongue that sticks out of his mouth like he always has something important to say, and the shy gentle personality hiding underneath it all, Junior is one of those dogs that completely sneaks up on your heart. Watch his video and prepare to become emotionally attached to the weirdest cutest little old man face you’ve ever seen: https://youtu.be/c2Rg4Ua3Vg8?si=UjyFxjQ-04MRPsDC Junior Bear is believed to be a Great Pyrenees/Lab mix approximately 6 years old and currently weighs around 50 lbs. He is a rescue dog and with any rescue, it’s always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age. What we CAN guarantee though is that this boy has one of the most unintentionally hilarious and lovable faces we’ve ever seen. His expressions are absolutely incredible. Truly the type of dog that makes you wish you could speak fluent dog because you KNOW he has thoughts and opinions constantly running through that little head LOL. Junior is a very sweet gentle soul, but he is definitely more of a slow burn with people and new environments. He needs a little time to settle in, observe, and realize he’s safe before fully opening up. The good news? Baby talking him absolutely works LOL. Seriously, tell him he’s handsome, speak softly to him, let him approach you on his own terms, and you can literally watch him start melting. Once he warms up, you start seeing those little glimpses of his inner puppy come out and honestly it’s adorable. He’ll start asking for affection, leaning into attention, and showing off this really sweet cuddly side that feels incredibly rewarding to earn. Junior is dog friendly and has done well with every dog we have introduced him to so far, including dogs much smaller than him. He has been very respectful, easygoing, and mostly aloof around other dogs overall. He’ll sniff, coexist peacefully, let dogs sniff him, and then usually go right back to minding his own business. He’s definitely more of a “quiet peaceful coexistence” type than a built-in wrestling buddy. There were a few moments where he followed another dog around the yard curiously, but overall he seems happiest simply existing nearby rather than actively engaging in play. Because of that, we think he would do best with lower to medium energy respectful dogs that will give him space to acclimate naturally and won’t overwhelm him socially. He has also been around small dogs multiple times and did wonderfully with them. Junior also met our house cat Biggie and met him appropriately and was very respectful around him. He did not chase Biggie, nor was he bothered by Biggie jumping or doing what cats do. Biggie also seemed to feel comfortable around him as well. We do not know if he has ever lived in a home before with a cat and this was our first time seeing him with a cat. If you have a cat in the home, we can arrange for Junior to have a sleepover with a cat upon request. Just let us know! Junior walks very easily on leash and honestly has the cutest little old man stroll ever. He likes to casually meander along at his own pace and seems to do best when allowed to lead the walk a little bit himself. Too much leash pressure tends to overwhelm him and then he frozen like a statue. Less pressure and more patience is really the key with him. He likes calm energy and slow introductions to things. Junior needs someone patient, understanding, and willing to go slow while trust is being built. Especially in the beginning, he can become uncomfortable with too much touch too quickly. However, when approached calmly and respectfully, he has continued showing that he is capable of building trust beautifully. Junior truly feels like a dog that just needs someone willing to meet him where he’s at emotionally instead of forcing him into situations before he’s ready. Despite his quirks, Junior is honestly a very easy low-energy dog overall. He is crate trained, quiet in the home, and would be perfectly content living a slower paced lifestyle filled with comfy naps, quiet companionship, sniffing around the yard, and peaceful walks. He could potentially do okay in a quieter apartment, townhome, duplex, or condo setting, but we really think having access to some kind of small yard would help him settle in more comfortably while building confidence with his new person. Once he feels safe, he truly is such a sweet quirky little gentleman with so much love underneath all the nervousness. Junior is not the type of dog that’s immediately going to run into your arms and act like your best friend on day one. He’s the type of dog where the connection builds slowly and then suddenly one day you realize this weird adorable little creature completely stole your heart. And honestly? Those dogs are usually the most special ones of all. We are willing to test Junior Bear with anything you need in order to ensure it's a perfect match we can make anything happen! Just let us know. Story
Calm, observant, affectionate, and carrying himself with the quiet confidence of a dog who believes every home deserves a watchful, adoring guardian, Jetson here has a way of making you and yours feel both welcomed and wonderfully looked after. Fast-track getting to know him by watching Jetson Juniper in action on YouTube, then come right back to read more about this handsome gentleman. https://youtu.be/kxmkY4a7Y1A Jetson is a rescue, so his breed and age are simply our best guess but we estimate him to be around two years old, and he looks very much like a Great Pyrenees though his thoughtful, guardian-style personality wouldn't make us question a dash of Anatolian Shepherd in there either. Honestly, Lab too! Whatever combination created him, the result is one remarkably balanced, beautiful dog with a snowy white coat, a fluffy curled tail, and a presence that immediately puts people at ease. His personality is what truly sets him apart. Jetson isn't busy looking for excitement. He's content simply being part of whatever life is happening around him. If contractors are working on your house, congratulations, they've just been assigned an honorary project manager. Jetson will politely supervise from a comfortable distance, quietly checking in on everyone's progress while making sure the operation continues running smoothly. Guests are greeted warmly, deliveries are acknowledged, squirrels are respectfully monitored, and every so often he'll take another lap around the yard as though he's completing another item on his very important daily checklist. Despite his guardian instincts, Jetson is incredibly gentle and social. He gets along beautifully with other dogs of all sizes and carries himself with an easy confidence that helps everyone around him rest easy. He also tested wonderfully with cats, showing the same calm, respectful attitude that seems to define every interaction he has. This is a dog who seems to believe that there is very little in life worth overreacting to. For a dog with such an impressive presence, Jetson has an incredibly soft heart. He's a true gentle giant who loves leaning in for affection, welcomes treats with the most careful, polite mouth, and is always ready for a little extra love, and he rides beautifully in the car- making him an easy companion for errands, road trips, or afternoon adventures. One of his favorite discoveries is the pool, where he's more than happy to cool off before returning to his very important supervisory duties. His confidence never feels overwhelming. Instead, it creates an incredible sense of steadiness. He is a dog who becomes the dependable center of the home without ever asking for the spotlight. He isn't demanding, chaotic, or constantly seeking entertainment. He simply enjoys being wherever his people are, keeping a loving eye on his family while soaking up the simple pleasures of life. Jetson would thrive with a family that appreciates the natural traits of his supposed breeds. While he's wonderfully friendly and welcoming, he's also observant by nature and enjoys having a home, yard, or property that he can proudly keep an eye on. His favorite job has already been assigned: loving his family while making sure everyone, and everything, is exactly where it belongs. The only thing currently missing is that family. If you are here looking for a dog who offers equal parts gentle affection, quiet confidence, and devoted companionship, Jetson is exactly the steady-hearted best friend you've been waiting for! Don’t let this one get away- he is a true keeper! Adopt Jetson today! Ready to make the first move? WARNING: Before continuing, please prepare yourself for an overwhelming amount of fluff. Seriously... Maximilian doesn't even look real. He looks like someone crossed a teddy bear with a baby polar bear and then somehow made the result even cuter. He's the kind of puppy that makes people instinctively say, "IT'S TOO FLUFFY!" before immediately reaching down to scoop him up for cuddles. Between the giant fluffy paws, cloud-like fur, and sweet little puppy face, this boy is basically impossible to resist. Maximilian is currently thriving in a foster home where he's beginning to explore the world through play, naps, mealtime routines, and gentle socialization. Right now life is wonderfully simple. He spends his days discovering toys, wrestling with his siblings, collecting cuddles, filling his little puppy belly, taking epic naps, and then waking up ready to do it all over again. Every day is helping him grow into the confident, happy dog he's meant to be. Watch his video and prepare for your heart to melt: https://youtu.be/JF2tI03AUOM?si=cf2FJDQWwALwDMyt This fluffy little guy is Maximilian. He is approximately 1 month old and currently weighs around 10 lbs. We believe he may be a Great Pyrenees/German Shepherd mix, but with rescue it's always a mystery and we can never guarantee breed. If you're looking for the kind of puppy that perfectly balances playtime and snuggle time, Maximilian is your boy. He's playful without being over-the-top, incredibly sweet, loves toys, and is already showing us what a cuddly little guy he is. Whether he's proudly carrying around a toy that's almost as big as he is or climbing into your lap after a busy play session, he's happiest when he's having fun or soaking up affection from his people. One of the best parts about adopting a puppy is getting to watch their personality unfold, and Maximilian is just getting started. Every new experience is helping shape the dog he'll become, and his future family gets the incredible privilege of being there for all of it. His first walks. His first camping trip. His first time seeing snow. His first birthday. Those are the moments that make raising a puppy so incredibly special. Like all young puppies, Maximilian will need a family that's ready for everything puppyhood brings. He'll need continued socialization, training, structure, consistency, and lots of positive experiences to help him grow into a well-rounded adult dog. We require adopters to begin crate training as soon as their puppy arrives home, as it plays an important role in potty training, learning independence, managing puppy energy, and building healthy lifelong habits. We pride ourselves on getting to know every puppy in our care so we can help make the best possible match between our dogs and their future families. If you'd like to meet Maximilian before making your decision, we'd be happy to arrange a FaceTime call so you can meet your fluffy new best friend. Fair warning though... once you see this little teddy bear in action, there's a very good chance you'll already be picking out where he's going to sleep. (Spoiler alert: he'll probably vote for somewhere very close to you.) Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life?
