Story
Meet Flip — A big-hearted Newfoundland mix with an even bigger capacity for love.Flip is a sweet, gentle boy who adores attention and bonds deeply with his people. If you sit down, he’ll happily roll over and ask for his favorite thing in the world: belly rubs. He’s affectionate, loyal, and thrives on being close to his humans, making him a wonderful companion for someone looking for a true best friend.Flip does great with kids and other dogs, and he’d especially love having a canine buddy to keep him company. Because he forms such strong attachments, Flip experiences separation anxiety when left alone and would do best in a home where someone works from home, is around most of the day, and/or has another dog for companionship. He cannot live in a home with cats or other small animals. If you’re looking for a loving, devoted dog who will return your affection tenfold and be happiest right by your side, Flip may be the perfect match. He’s ready to give his whole heart to the right home — belly rubs included. Adoption fee includes:&#226&#156&#133 Neuter&#226&#156&#133 Vaccines&#226&#156&#133 Microchip&#226&#156&#133 Treated for fleas and worms Interested in meeting Flip? Please email: adoption@columbiahumane.org for an application.Adoption Fee: $350For more information call 503-397-4353 or email adoption@columbiahumane.orgFebruary 4, 2026, 5:34 am

Story
I am very energetic. I will need to visit the groomer regularly. I am only a year old. I am great with kids and other dogs. I am potty trained and crate trained. I know basic commands like sit, lay down, shake and stay. My family has to make an emergency move and because of conditions behind the move they aren’t able to take me with. Someone please welcome me into their home with open arms. I’m ready to be your perfect companion.

Story
Adopted from a friend in Yakima, along with his brother Keanu, Ollie is 2 years old and is looking for an experienced dog owner to take him in. Recommended that the new home does not have other pets or small children. A perfect home for Ollie would be one that is able to provide him the time and energy he needs to live a fulfilling and attended life. He is very energetic, sweet, a little clumsy, and he is decently able to follow commands. Ollie would require dedicated time to train and immerse himself in a new life. He is currently not getting enough exercise and care, due to my parents' failing health over the last year. I am hopeful that the right owners are just around the corner for him. No fee required, we just want Ollie to have a happy life.

Story
Adopted from a friend in Yakima, along with his brother Ollie. Keanu is 2 years old. He is looking for an experienced owner who is able to provide him with energy and proper care. Keanu is a very goofy, clumsy, loving, and curious dog. He has been a gentle giant in our home and a good friend. Keanu's perfect home would be able to provide him with additional training and proper veterinary care, along with plenty of loving and treats. He is okay with kids, but recommended caution with other animals, especially small ones due to his size. My parents are unable to care for him due to declining health. We would very much like for Keanu to find a great family and live a good life.
