Meet Rosco! He is a sweet boy but can be a bossy one, though regardless he always has a lot to say! He needs a home that is active and can provide lots of stimulation. Rosco can be protective, or even territorial in a setting that has kids, so he would do best in child-free home. He is very excitable, and every person he greets can't help but smile at his precious scruffy face and wiggly tail. Rosco loves to go for walks with his favorite humans, but enjoys playing in the yards with his doggie friends just as much. We love Rosco and we are sure you will love him too! Adoption Pending. Furguson is about 4 years old and 16 lbs. He is a nice little dog who loves hanging out with you. He gets along with other dogs but doesn't want to play with them. He would love to be an only dog if you do not work a full workday and would need a canine companion for him if you do. Furgus is a people dog and gets along with men and women but he lights up when he sees a man. No young children should be in the home where he lives because he has no patience with them. He is a sweet and good-natured fellow who can also be very vocal when he wants and has much to say. A perfect day for him is a stroll through the backyard, walking, riding in the car, or just sitting in his bed next to you or on the chair where you sit. He is not interested in toys at all. Furgus sleeps all night in his bed and is house-trained. He is a loving dog who needs to be in a quiet home where he can let his hair down. We do not know how he would be with cats in the home. Furgus is being fostered in San Francisco. His adoption fee is $275.00. Rango is a young terrier–Border Collie mix with a gentle soul and a quietly hopeful heart. When he first arrived at the rescue, he was very frightened and shut down, unsure of the world around him. But day by day, Rango is beginning to come out of his shell and learn that people can be kind. He’s still quite timid around humans and prefers to take things slow—but what’s special about Rango is his curiosity. Even when he’s unsure, he’ll bravely come up to sniff, observe, and check things out on his own terms. Trust is blooming, one small step at a time. Where Rango truly shines is with other dogs. He loves playing, running, and taking cues from his canine friends, and we think he would thrive in a home with one or more confident dogs to help show him the ropes. His Border Collie–terrier mix gives him a playful, active side that really comes alive during doggy playtime. Rango is neutered and up to date on all vaccines. He’s looking for a patient, loving home that understands shy dogs and will celebrate the quiet wins—because with time, consistency, and canine companionship, this sweet boy has so much love to give. 💛

Gondo is a charming 4-year-old schnauzer–terrier mix who came to us from a hoarding situation in the Central Valley. Despite a rough start, Gondo is showing just how much potential he has and is blossoming more every day in foster care. Gondo is a smart, curious little guy and a fast learner. He’s currently working on commands like sit, up, and off—and he’s picking them up quickly. He can be a bit of a climber (countertops beware!), but with clear boundaries and guidance, he’s eager to please and learn the rules. He has big opinions about food and definitely knows what he likes! His favorites include frozen yogurt, chicken broth, and Royal Canin kibble—great motivators for training and bonding. Gondo does well on leash and enjoys slow, treat-filled walks where he can sniff and explore the world at his own pace. He’s happiest wearing a harness that slips over his head and clips underneath. Stairs are a bit of a question mark for him—sometimes he’s hesitant, sometimes confident—so a home that’s patient and observant as he figures that out would be ideal. During the day, Gondo does wonderfully in an office or work-from-home environment, happily relaxing with short walks sprinkled throughout. In the evenings, his playful side comes out with bursts of energy—he especially loves amusing himself by playing with his reflection in mirrors! With structure, patience, and love, Gondo is going to be a loyal, entertaining, and deeply rewarding companion. He’s ready for a home that will continue building his confidence and help him shine. 💛
