Story
Callie is a very sweet loving dog. We adopted her at 9 months old as an abused puppy who was returned to the shelter 3x. When we adopted her she was very timid to be around people and dogs. I highly recommend a home with NO kids or other pets due to her behavioral histroy. She has guarding issues around food, toys and her crate. We stopped crating her as she is house trainined and that seemed to help tremendously and only allowing toys in an area without our kids. Unfortuantly she bit our toddler which is why we are looking to rehome her when it was unprovoked. I think she is getting older and needs a quiter home than what we can provide. She loves walks, playing ball, bones, playing with toys, etc. We have been able to manage for 8 years around her behavioral tendencies but with our young children we do not think it is safe anymore. I am happy to discuss everything we know about Callie as I do think she would make the perfect dog for someone who has no kids and is looking for a bestie

Raised from a puppy by his current family, Jasper has been deeply loved, but as life has grown busier and noisier around him, he’s shown us that what he truly craves is peace, calm, and a more serene environment. Jasper is a wonderful boy who loves the simple joys of life—long walks on leash, fun play sessions at the dog park, and spending time with his people. He’s great with other dogs, both at home and out in social settings, and would likely thrive with a friendly canine companion to share his days with.   What Jasper needs most is a quieter household, ideally an adult home or one with older teens, where he can relax without constant sudden noises or stress. Inside, he’s housetrained, well-mannered, and happiest in a calm space where he can simply enjoy being with his humans. Outside, he’s active, playful, and always ready for a little adventure. She’s always wagging her tail, eager to be near her humans, and full of puppy joy. 🩷 She’s an active, happy girl who thrives with attention, play, and daily adventures. 🌳🐾 Adults: Absolutely loves everyone she meets. Children: Great with kids but may be too energetic for very young children — she sometimes jumps or playfully nibbles when excited. Dogs: Gets along wonderfully with other dogs! She loves to play, though can be a bit rough with large dogs. She’s gentle with puppies and adjusts her energy. She may get a little jealous if another dog approaches while she’s being petted. Cats: Very curious and approaches without fear. If a cat acts aggressively, she may bark or get excited, but otherwise coexists fine. 🚽 Potty Training Nilla is about 80 % outdoor-trained and improving fast. She uses pee pads when indoors, though prefers going outside. Her foster expects that as she matures, she’ll become fully outdoor-trained. 👉 A family who can take her for 3 short walks a day would be ideal. 🚶‍♀️ Walks & Leash Manners Nilla loves walks! She may pull slightly at the beginning until she relieves herself, but she calms down quickly. When she sees other dogs or cats, she can get excited — but if you hold the leash firmly and ask her to sit, she listens right away. She’s food-motivated, smart, and learns quickly. ✨ With consistent training, she’ll become a wonderful walking companion. 🏡 Home Life & Behavior No separation anxiety Chews on toys or wooden sticks when alone — please keep small or unsafe items out of reach Has never chewed furniture or walls Loves to be touched and cuddled 🤗 A bit scared of grooming (baths, nail trimming, ear cleaning), but she stays calm and never bites. She’s learning to trust and improving every week. 💔 Rescue Story Nilla was rescued from a city shelter’s euthanasia list. She nearly lost her chance at life, but thanks to rescuers’ love and care, she was saved and is now ready to find her forever family. Nilla is full of love, intelligence, and joy.
