Story
My name is Milo Magoo and I am a 3 year old Golden Doodle with a birthday that is coming in the next few days… to turn 3 yrs. old.  I weigh 80 pounds and I am looking for an attentive and dog training family that will really shape and polish me to be the spectacular dog that I have the potential to be.  My current family really has no time to work with me to shape me in to a dog with great manners and emotional control.   I am bored in this home and I need physical and mental stimulation and fun challenges to do.  I am very happy, sweet, and very active with running and playing.  I am a male that is ALL BOY and if I had my wish I would say to adopt me if you have a girl dog in the family.   I would love to have a girlfriend for life!  When I am bored my favorite, yet dangerous, thing to do is eat socks.  So please watch that if you take me home.  It is totally out of boredom.   Critter Cavalry Rescue is tryng to change all this by placing me in the right home that they will review closely.   I am a silver tawny coloring and people just ohhhhh and ahhhhh over the color of my coat of  hair.  If you would like to adopt me please email right away at ccrnewengland@gmail.com Mention in the email where you live!!!   That helps so much too.  PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.April 19, 2024, 8:26 am

Story
Mighty Moses is a handsome golden colored two-year-old, 59 pound, Golden Doodle that is all about boy love.  We tried to post him before Valentine so that a family could gift themselves with the truest love of all...the love of a dog.  But busy times in rescue got in the way and we are hoping that the February month is all about the love of adopting a rescued dog.  Mighty Moses enjoys walks, car rides and snuggled close for cuddling by your side.  He gets along well with other animals both big and small which is a total PLUS.  He is housetrained, neutered and up-to-date on all vaccinations, microchip and on heartworm prevention with a negative heartworm test.  Don't let this handsome, young Golden Doodle slip by!  Email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com  asap.  He's ready to go! Story
This handsome boy is called Shark and he is a young Golden Retriever mix that weighs 63 pounds and is just a year old and what we consider a teenager. He has found himself in a nice humane society shelter in a small town and Critter Cavalry Rescue is trying to help him get out and in to a home or a foster home.  Can you help us help this boy!?  He is good with other dogs and loves people.  He has a ton of energy and that might be reasonable since he is confined in a small shelter run with little space to run.  We think this boy would be a loyal and wonderful family companion if given the chance!   If you are interested in partnering with us to spring this Golden mix boy from the shelter and off to a great chance at life then please email us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   He is ready to walk out that door on a leash to freedom and hope. PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.April 19, 2024, 8:26 am

Story
No fee, but am asking to set up a vet appointment for him or atleast have a vet. I want him to go to a good home and be loved and cared for, as I have for the past 4 years. I unfortunately have to move back to the barracks. I was my moms caretaker and legal guardian but due to lack of proper resources and medical care in SWLA I had to move her back in with family and she now lives back in my home state. My dad can't take him due to his worsening MS. He's a great boy, and so loving. I rescued him from a shelter in Baltimore MD and have the paperwork for that. He came from a hard life but has made huge progress. He doesn't really understand dog toys, he will occasionally take a stuffed animal and carry it around or just lay with it. or chew on a fake antler toy. He would flip around cat toys though; he spent 2 years with cats because of my roommates and picked up on some of their tendencies. He doesn't really bark; I do have a Garmin vibrating collar for the yard time.

If you are interested in Bria, please contact masonhong21@gmail.com Bria is proof that age is just a number. This loving 12 year old girl is the perfect companion, at home or wherever your days take you! Bria is the definition of a loyal friend. There is nothing in the world she loves more than to spend her days by your side. She will be there for you to celebrate your happy moments or shower you with affection on the not so good ones. Bria is super friendly, loves people, and is quick to make friends. Bria is a wonderful working from home buddy. Gentle and calm, she has impeccable house manners and is great in the car. She is always ready to jump in on an adventure with you - she's got plenty of energy for a good walk - or is happy just cuddling on the sofa. Her foster says she's so well behaved that he just takes her everywhere with him. Bria mostly enjoys lounging around the house doing nothing - relatable! She has done great in apartments but she wouldn't mind having her own yard. She would do best in a quiet home with older kids or adults. Bria is a people's dog and would be happier as your one and only pet. All she really wants is a family to love and call her own. This sweet and gentle soul has so much love and devotion to give, and would make her future family very happy!

Story
Meet Annabelle (fka Popcorn)! Annabelle is a cuddler extraordinaire! She's very soft and she loves attention... can you tell by that face?! She is very quiet: no whining or barking. Annabelle is house trained and only chews on her toys. She is a young girl with lots of energy, so she'll need a yard or at least 2 long walks a day. Foster mom takes her on a 2 mile walk before work and Annabelle is good after that. She gets along with her 4-legged foster brother, but not a toy sharer, at this point. She does need a little work with resource guarding (food and toys) and learning how to be a good leash walker. Annabelle is just about perfect and with a little love and patience, she'll be there in no time! Annabelle is spayed and up-to-date on vaccines. The adoption fee for this dog is $425 which includes routine vetting and spay/neuter. PetConnect Rescue cannot guarantee the exact breed of any animal in our care. You can learn more about them at http://www.northsidevetclinic.com/index.html If you are interested in adopting this dog, please fill out our dog adoption questionnaire and e-mail any questions to: Jamie, nereid_parson.02@icloud.com PLEASE VISIT THIS WEBSITE TO FIND THE ADOPTION QUESTIONNAIRE: http://www.homewardtrails.org/adopt-a-pet/adoption-forms/ LOCATION: Trails Home Farm HOW TO MEET THIS ANIMAL: Any dog at the Trails Home Farm or in foster require an appointment for any approved adopter to have a meet and greet. ADOPTION FEE: WAIVED! ABOUT THIS ANIMAL: Meet Snoop Dog!! Snoop Dog has an amazing connection to people. He loves to be loved on but the poor thing is so insecure and feels you may take his food away from him so he truly doesn't want to be bothered while he eats. He suffers from resource guarding and the new adopter will need to continue training to help and provide patience and understanding while he deems something as his. Snoop Dog is SO smart and knows some really cool commands, like paw, speak, heal, and stay. He aims to please! He has not had a single accident in his kennel so he may be potty trained....BONUS! Poor Snoop suffered from separation anxiety in his previous foster home so he comes with a specific crate when he is adopted. Snoop will need someone to help him continue to improve with this. Due to his separation anxiety, Snoop is not suited for an apartment home. Snoop Dog is currently on a fish-based diet to help with some allergies. Snoop Dog may have some flaws but this should never prevent a dog from finding the perfect match. We know the right person is out there for him to take him out of the chaos of the shelter environment. Come meet Snoop and see for yourself how much love he has to offer. KNOWN WITH DOGS: Snoop Dog is dog selective and prefers to meet other dogs slowly on a walk before he's ready to engage in play. This may take some time. He likes to roughhouse when playing. Not dog park material. KNOWN WITH CATS: unknown KNOWN WITH KIDS: Snoop Dog would do best in an adult only home. KNOWN COMMANDS: Sit, down, paw, speak, heal, stay KNOWN HOUSEBREAKING &/OR CRATING: Snoop Dog has some separation anxiety that he struggles with but has been managed well with Trazadone, as needed. KNOWN LIKES: People and attention KNOWN DISLIKES: Kennel life. Others around while he is eating things. Snoop Dog has become a little depressed since being in the shelter. He is more than ready to find a home! We again thank Northside Veterinary Clinic in Arlington for their generous sponsorship of Snoop Dog which means his adoption fee is WAIVED!! ESTIMATE WEIGHT FULL GROWN: 50 lbs KNOWN WITH DOGS: Remington is dog selective and leash reactive. Since being in a foster home for a couple months, he has shown AMAZING progress with his socialization, which we believe will improve even more with a home willing to slowly introduce him to new dogs and have him in environments where he can make LOTS Of positive associations with other dogs! Remington has shown himself to be very trainable. He is making progress in these areas and comes with a pre-paid lifetime training contract that is assumable by a new adopter. KNOWN WITH CATS: Remington is not a good dog for a home with another animal KNOWN WITH KIDS: Remington is not a fan of little kids! He would be great with teenagers. KNOWN HOUSEBREAKING &/OR CRATING: Remington is WONDERFUL in the home. He can be left long periods of time and is as chill as can be. He is housetrained and likes laying on his dog bed when left alone. KNOWN LIKES: Pets, hanging with people, treats, sniffs in the yard KNOWN DISLIKES: He is not a big fan of running into dogs on walks. It makes him very nervous! ABOUT THIS ANIMAL: Meet Remington - the loyal companion seeking a forever home filled with love and understanding! With an estimated weight of 50 lbs, Remington may be a big boy, but his heart is even bigger, ready to offer unwavering loyalty and companionship to his lucky new family. Underneath his initial apprehension, Remington is a trainable and intelligent pup, eager to learn and grow with the right guidance. When it comes to his interactions with cats and kids, Remington's preferences are clear - he's not suited for a home with other animals or little kids, but he would thrive in a household with older teenagers who can appreciate his unique personality and provide him with the love and attention he deserves. In terms of housebreaking and crate training, Remington is an absolute gem - he's wonderful in the home, able to be left alone for long periods without a fuss. Whether he's lounging on his dog bed or enjoying some quality cuddle time with his favorite humans, Remington is the epitome of chill. My name is Uncle Joe and I am in search of a special family or person or couple that loves my breed line which is, English Setter.  I am 4 1/2 years old and my owner released me and my look alike brother to a vet who kindly allowed us to stay at her clinic for a while and to avoid the terrible shelter in our town.  We were not neutered nor updated on shots and heartworm.  We are now!   I am 55 pounds and I do NOT have to be adopted with my brother, Mr. Moe.  We are both independent boys that love people and are told that are very handsome and rare to find in the rescue world.  I have a fair amount of energy and it would benefit me to be adopted by someone with lots of desire and ability to be outside to exercise with me.  I would love a fenced yard too.  I think kids would be fun to hang out with and I am good with other dogs if introduced slowly and they don’t jump around in my face.  I am a sweet and intelligent dog that is looking for someone to really give me some one on one time and a chance to be taught some great manners.  I can learn quickly and I certainly will return to you every ounce of love and devotion that I have in my heart and soul.  I am ready NOW…. please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com and tell them where you live and that you are interested in making me a part of your life!
