Rex is a young English Shepherd and Husky mix with a sweet personality and lots of energy. He originally came from a friend and has been loved and cared for, but he needs a home that can give him more space, consistency, and time for exercise and training. Rex is smart, playful, and loves being around people. He does well with routines and enjoys walks, playtime, and being part of whatever you're doing. He would thrive with an active person or family who understands Husky-type dogs and can continue teaching him good manners. Rex deserves a stable, patient home where he can feel safe, loved, and supported long-term.

Golden Retriever German Shepherd Dog

San Antonio, TX
Size
(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
Details
Good with kids, Good with dogs, Not good with cats, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Max is a gentle, low-maintenance sweetheart looking for a calm place to land and enjoy the good life. Born in November 2017, he’s a large mixed-breed boy (Golden Retriever mom, likely German Shepherd dad) weighing around 90 pounds. Max is currently being rehomed due to a family relocation where they are unable to take their dogs with them, so he is looking for a new forever home. Despite his size, Max is a mellow companion who prefers the simple things: sunbathing in a warm spot, soft belly rubs, and head scratches from his favorite people. He’s the definition of an easygoing dog—low energy, low drama, and happy just being near you. He is house trained, crate trained, and does well when left alone outside of his crate. Max walks nicely on a leash and knows basic commands including sit, stay, and shake. He is generally well-mannered and easy to live with. He does have one important boundary: he can be protective of high-value treats such as bones, so he does best with respect
