He loves people and is always excited to make new friends — just remember, he comes equipped with tiny razor teeth and enthusiastic puppy nails, because… well… puppy. 😄 He’s currently up to date on age-appropriate vaccines and will be neutered before leaving the rescue, so he’ll be all set for his next big adventure: becoming someone’s very best friend. Oakley’s hobbies include: 🐾 Wrestling with his foster siblings 🐾 Playing until he flops over mid-zoomie 🐾 Giving surprise puppy kisses 🐾 Investigating EVERYTHING 🐾 Being ridiculously cute 24/7 He’s looking for a family ready for all the wonderful chaos that comes with raising a puppy — training, laughter, chewed toys (maybe trying to sneak in a shoe too!), and lots of love. If you’re ready for puppy breath, puppy snuggles, and puppy shenanigans, Oakley is ready for you!!! ✨ Apply today at haydudeequine.org and get ready to fall in love with this tiny tornado of joy. 🐶💙

Story
I took May because she was being abandoned by her previous owner who was moving. She had terrible ear infections when I got her. She was on steroids for a few weeks so was unable to get her vaccines. Her ear infections are gone so it is time to find her a forever home. She takes a bit to get used to small dogs but didn’t have a problem with my bigger ones. She has a bad habit of sneaking up on my bed at night. She is a sweet girl.

Story
This stunning 5-year-old Orange Belton English Setter is ready to find a family that understands him. He’s a big boy at about 70 lbs and while we know he is an English Setter, we can only speculate about his bloodlines because of his larger size. Augie is a smart, independent, treat-motivated boy who picks up on training quickly. But he’ll need an adopter with expertise and patience to help him build confidence, especially in new situations. Here’s what makes Augie special:  Low prey drive – no lizard or squirrel-chasing chaos here!  Companions  – he is ok with the company of female dogs his size but honestly people are his favorite, and he doesn’t need another dog in his forever home.  Yard enthusiast – a good-sized, securely fenced yard (6’ fencing) is important for his playtime.  Timid but willing – he may start off a little nervous, but with time, he’ll blossom into a devoted companion. Augie is searching for a kind and experienced adopter who will guide him with love, consistency, and patience. Because of his size and enthusiasm for his people, he’s looking for a home without children or older folks who might be accidentally knocked about by his affectionate nature. Could that be you? Apply today and give this sweet boy the home he’s been waiting for!  April 13, 2025, 7:35 pm

Story
Meet Denali! Denali is a 6&#226&#128&#145year&#226&#128&#145old neutered male English Setter with a gentle heart and a naturally happy spirit. He’s almost always wagging his tail, even when he’s unsure of new situations. Once he feels safe, his affectionate side shines through. Denali has formed a strong bond with his foster mom but has been slow to learn that other people can be safe and kind too. With new visitors, Denali prefers to keep his distance and may bark from afar, but he does not show fear aggression. His instinct is simply to retreat when he feels overwhelmed. Denali is still building confidence with everyday experiences like wearing a halter, exploring new rooms, and going in and out of the house. His foster mom is helping him practice calmly and consistently, and he’s beginning to understand that these things aren’t so scary. Walks are a future goal for him, and he’s taking the first steps toward that milestone. Denali loves gentle affection from his foster mom and happily wags his tail whenever she looks his way. He enjoys playing with the resident golden retriever, who is similar in size, and he shares toys well with the other dogs in the home. He’s tall and slender for an English Setter, with a graceful build. It took him some time to feel comfortable entering the bedroom, but now he sleeps peacefully on the floor at night. Every once in a while, he surprises his foster mom by hopping onto the bed when he thinks she won’t notice—he’s still deciding how he feels about that privilege. Denali has a strong interest in squirrels and will stand on his hind legs to watch them in the trees, barking enthusiastically at his unreachable “friends.” In the yard, he usually comes when called. He loves soft toys and also enjoys chewing on sturdier bones. Denali shows no food aggression and is comfortable sharing space and toys with other dogs. Denali is a very sweet, sensitive, and happy dog who will thrive with someone patient, gentle, and committed to helping him build confidence at his own pace. He will do best in a calm home with people who can slowly introduce him to new experiences—new rooms, new people, new animals, and new equipment like halters or collars. With time, trust, and consistency, Denali will blossom into a deeply loyal companion. December 25, 2025, 12:17 pm

Story
Almondine is a sweet, 12 year young precious girl looking for her forever home. She is a gentle, low-energy girl who loves nothing more than soaking up the sunshine and enjoying a good nap. She’s the perfect companion for someone who appreciates a calm, loving presence in their home. Almondine is incredibly sweet and affectionate with people. She loves lounging around and relaxing in cozy spots. She is trustworthy when left loose in the house—no destructive habits! Almondine does not like being crated and becomes anxious if left in one for too long. Almondine does well with dogs when she has controlled and slow intros because she can be growly initially, possibly from some age related pains. She’s been to a specialist and is now on pain medication. She has never been around cats but she has a low prey drive. Her foster home has 6’ fencing and she has never tried to escape. We believe she would be ok as an only dog as long as her person is home most of the time. We’re not recommending her for a home with kids under 10, just to make sure that as a senior she is handled with care.    If you’re looking for a mellow, sunshine-loving friend to share your days with, Almondine could be the perfect match. Seniors like Almondine deserve a soft place to land—could that be with you? November 17, 2025, 5:21 pm
