TB was rescued from the shelter after his former home no longer wanted him past the puppy stages. This poor boy was very shut down when we saved him but we promised that his future would be amazing. Teddy Bear weighs 20 pounds and every ounce is full of cuteness and charm. He is absolutely adorable and he makes heads turn when he walks into the room.    Teddy Bear is a quiet and loving boy who is looking for a home ready to help him bloom! When he arrived at our rescue, he was very shy and skittish, not really sure what the world around him had to offer. After a few days of watching the resident family dogs, he started to come out of his shell and enjoy all the treats and snuggles we have to shower him with. However, interested homes should be ready to wait him out rather than force him to engage right away. You will need to go at his pace to see the amazing boy we know he is. Teddy would benefit from a home where his chosen human is almost always home as he has some (understandable) separation anxiety due to his past before rescue. We will be looking for a home who understands shy dogs and can demonstrate their readiness for Teddy Bear.  Teddy Bear has started playing with toys and loves squeaking his plushies. He would love a home where he can have all the toys and beds he desires! He is on the lower end of the energy scale, but we think he would be up for adventures once he feels more confident on a leash, though as of now he prefers the backyard. He is so soft and fluffy, it’s hard to resist running your hands through his pillowy fur. If you want kisses at the same time, he can even make that happen!  Teddy Bear starts his morning at 6:30 AM and checks out the house as his foster mom starts her day. He has breakfast at 8 AM and then goes out for some sun and potty time. During the day, TB’s ideal spot is under the desk as his foster mom works. He also loves to hang out with the resident dogs. He’s been getting his wrestling on as he gains his confidence. TB took a few days to figure out snuggling but now he jumps on the couch for cuddles without hesitation. After some TV time, Teddy Bear goes out for one last potty trip and sniff around the yard. He goes to his crate for the night at 10 PM and snoozes the night away.  Teddy adores his canine foster siblings and has gained a lot of confidence following them around. He loves dogs of all sizes and has even begun initiating play. Teddy needs support as he learns how to walk on a leash and gain his confidence, but we know the end results will be so gratifying. This loving boy can’t wait for you to take him off the shelf and bring him home!    Teddy is house-trained in his foster home and crate trained. He is let out every four hours for a potty break in the yard and sleeps through the night without issue.  Teddy is only an option for those who have owned a dog before. We are seeking an experienced home ready to work with Teddy Bear. Adults only for Mr. Teddy. March 11, 2025, 4:08 pm

Sparrow was rescued in Central Valley by one of our partners and flew all the way up to the Bay Area to find his flock. Sparrow weighs 7 pounds and has that adorable foxy Papillon look to him, making him absolutely irresistible. Come fly on over and meet Sparrow today!    Sparrow is a love bug who wants to spend his days showering his humans in kisses and snuggles! He blossomed quickly once he entered his foster home and now he loves to play with his canine foster brother in the yard. He is a bit lower energy than your typical puppy but he still loves to play and go on adventures. Just expect every day to end with snuggles on the couch as you catch up on your favorite shows together! Sparrow is super smart and we expect with training he will be a little Einstein as he shows off his tricks. You’ll be the talk of the town as you stroll down the street with this handsome boy. Sparrow has a permanent smile on his face and a wag in his tail which makes resisting him nearly impossible, so you should prepare to always have snacks to give this growing lad. His party trick? He learned how to tuck himself into bed with his blanket and when he’s ready for bed he dozes off instantly. He is truly such a loving and gentle boy who will make his lucky forever humans so happy. He just wants to be where his people are and can’t wait to tackle every adventure (or couch cushion) with his forever humans!  Sparrow wakes up around 8 AM and goes for his morning walk before coming inside for a grazing station breakfast bar. He spends his mornings exploring the house and checking out the toys with his foster brother. They alternate between playing and snoozing together while their foster mom works from home. He gets a few more potty breaks during the day as well as some cuddles and lap sitting. He has dinner at around 5 PM, spending the rest of his evening curled up on the couch before he heads to bed between 10-11 PM. Sparrow lives with a small dog currently and they get along very well. He would be a great companion dog but he could also easily fly solo. He walks well on a leash and is making progress in his potty training. We know Sparrow will be the light of your life so come meet this cuddly cutiepie today!      Sparrow is an option for homes who have prior dog experience. Kids should be over the age of 5.April 16, 2025, 9:03 pm
