Story
Reggie is 3 years old and weighs 20 lbs. He is good with other dogs, ok with cats and good around most people. He does prefer women to men, but will warm up to men once he feels safe. He was found as a stray last year in Tijuana. He had an old injury to his jaw. It appears as if it was broken at one time and didn’t heal correctly. He can eat and drink and doesn’t seem to cause him any pain. Reggie would do best in a home with older or no children. If you would like to meet this dog you can read about our adoption process and submit an application on our website at: http://www.bajaanimalsanctuary.org/dogs.htm  May 3, 2024, 8:17 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Cameron was returned this summer - 9 months after he was adopted! Now he's looking for a REAL forever family.  Cameron is best described as a Cat-Dog. Much like a cat Cameron is happy on his own, and likes to be petted - but when he's ready. He isn't gonna try to steal the spotlight because he'd much rather hang out on his own - until he's comfortable. If you are looking for a fast friend, this is NOT the dog for you. But if you want to invest the time and let the dog feel relaxed and safe, he will repay you by letting you pet his chin. Cameron will do really well in a home with another small dog to help him feel more comfortable, or with a human that won't put too much pressure on him to be their friend. He is leash trained, crate trained and will need a dog savvy adopter. =============================================================== Originally, Cameron came to us after his owner was evicted and decided to abandon the house full of animals when they left.  Cameron and the two pack mates that we pulled with him were terrified. It's been 9 months and these cutie pies are available for adoption.  Cameron is the slowest to come around of the 3 dogs we pulled. While he is more comfortable hanging out by himself he does like people.  Cameron absolutely loves to run around the yard, and the more you praise how fast he is, the faster he runs - with a smile! Cameron is still shy and needs an owner that will go slow with him, but still apply a little bit of pressure. If you'd like to meet Cameron, come on down to our adoption center. Thursday - Saturday 11 - 4.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 30, 2024, 2:58 pm

Story
It would be hard to find a little puppy cuter than Winslow Homer! He’s a tiny 5-month-old fluffy pup who weighs about 11 pounds. I would guess that when he’s full grown, he will weigh about 15 or 16 pounds but I’m pretty sure he won’t get any bigger than that at all. His mama was supposedly part poodle, but Winnie looks more like a Papillion blended with a white King Charles Spaniel. He has a wavy and very soft white coat. I love that my mixed breed dogs are all unique - each and every one has his or her own look, which makes them even more special! My guess is that little Winslow is hypoallergenic, but I am not sure of that, which is why I recommend a sleepover if you or someone in your family is allergic to dogs. Baby Winslow gets along with everyone and everything – big dogs, little dogs, big and small people (kids), and kitties. He’s crate trained and well on his way to being housebroken, affectionate, loving, and quiet. Of course, Winnie’s adoption covers his neuter, all his baby shots (DA2PPv’s and Bordatella), his rabies shot, and incidentals like flea meds and worm meds, as necessary. He’s wonderfully healthy and robust, and I have all his medical records to pass onto his new family. I'm a firm believer in a” sleepover” -- you can take a pup home to make sure it is a good match for you, the pup, and the rest of your family. The sleepover can be a week, because it's only fair to give everyone time to get to know one another to adapt. We always take our critters back if things don’t work out. To meet this adorable and likely hypoallergenic little doll face (and all our other great foster doggies), please call 858-602-2061 or email findabestbuddy@gmail.com

Woof!! come and meet me at Grossmont Center today Saturday 12/11 from 11 to 3 pm I have a beautiful light color coat, smart, and lovable. I am currently being fostered with other dogs and cats. We are being raised with cats walking around us, domestic and feral. We are around other dogs, large and small as well. I am easy going, low key and lovable I can't wait for you to take me home - and be your best buddy:) Are you ready to give him a forever home? If so, Please text at 619-576-0747 as 1st type of contact or email veronica.aaofusa@gmail.com or visit our website at www.aaofus.org and complete our application at the following link: http://aaofus.org/adoption-application.html . Donation Adoption fee includes up-to-date their 3 core puppy DHLPP vaccinations, spaying or neutering, deworming, flea medication, and a complementary health check up by a participating clinic near you. Please consider adopting one (or more!) of these fur babies! Due to high volume of calls; NO PHONE calls are accepted at this time - therefore, please text us or email us.- A minute of conscious - Please read:) We ask you Please to be SERIOUS adopters; as there have been so many people that are not ready. We set up meet & greet appointments, do a home visit or send them the address for some meet & greet locations, paperwork and suddenly they said they are not ready or spouse is not ready, etc. These fur kids have a very hard day the day of their appointment. Due to travelling we hold their food, so they won't get car sick. We bath them, some of them are schedule for grooming as you know it is stressful for them; then they have to travel with us picking up other rescued fur kids, and so on, it is a very stressful hard day for them for people to just cancel at last minute or not show up or do show up and just say they are not ready. Our time as well as your time is valuable. Please don't waste valuable time that is so precious for a rescued pet. Every single wasted time is a time that an animal will die because we didn't get to them on time to help them. In addition, of wasting gas and grooming fees which are paid by volunteers. Please take the time to put your shoes in the shoes of the volunteer and most of it to put your shoes on our rescued fur kids!! Please take a minute to tell yourself if you are ready to adopt and for this commitment. LIVE!! LOVE!! LAUGH!! ADOPT A RESCUED HOMELESS PET AND SAVE A LIFE!!
