Honey is a sweet old lady who is looking for a soft place to land for however much time she has left. Honey is at least 13 years old, and would love to find a place to settle in and call her own. While hospice adoptions can be heartbreaking, the upside is that you have the opportunity to give her all the pampering she deserves! Honey has no teeth, and we are still working out which types of food she enjoys. We would be happy to send home plenty of options for her adopter to try. Honey is a hospice dog, so it will be important for her new family to give her all the love and support while also monitoring her quality of life. Meet Gemma! Gemma is a teeny tiny little sweetheart with the cutest Chihuahua/Papillon mix look and the most adorable little face. She’s just beginning to discover how wonderful life can be after coming from a home where she didn’t get much socialization. Since arriving in foster care, Gemma has been making slow, but steady progress. She’s starting to come out of her shell a little more each day and is looking for a patient family who will let her blossom at her own pace. Gemma would do best in a quiet home with another friendly small breed dog to show her the ropes and become her built-in best friend.
