Story
Name: Lady Nickname: Chocolate Breed: Papillon mix? Long-haired Chihuahua? Anyone’s guess! Age: 2 years est. Sex: Female Weight: 10 lbs Before OMD: Found as a stray with bad cherry eye, which has since been corrected. What we love most: Sweet, loving, cuddly, and just a really lovely little dog. She’s chill and affectionate with a fun, sassy personality that comes out once she feels comfortable. What she loves most: Toys, food, people, walks, and snuggling. She especially loves plush toys and will happily take every toy out of the bin and scatter them around the house. Cuddly or independent: Definitely cuddly! Lady loves sitting on your lap while you work and curling up with you on the couch, but she’s also perfectly happy entertaining herself. Working on: Confidence with new people. She can be fearful and vocal when meeting strangers, but give her a few minutes and she warms up and shows you her sweet personality. She’s also working on stairs and becoming fully house trained. Dogs: Great with other dogs so far and starting to play with her (small) foster dog siblings. No aggression or resource guarding. Cats: Unknown but we suspect she would be just fine Kids: Dog-savvy 8 + please since she can be fearful House trained: About 75% there and continuing to improve. Crate trained: Will tolerate the crate; recently graduated from the crate overnight to sleeping in the bed. You should also know: Lady’s mischievous side is coming out. She has figured out how to open cabinets and closed doors and has recently discovered the garbage. Lady is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm negative. She can be adopted to residents of CT and surrounding states. Please complete an application if interested in adopting.

Story
Lovey and Ladybug are a bonded pair of cuties looking for their new home. We believe these girls are both between 12 - 14 years old. Lovey is a Papillion mix who weighs just over 8lbs and Ladybug is a Brussels mix who weighs a little over 14lbs. These two girls love to cuddle together on their elevated dog beds. Lovey can be a little protective of Ladybug if another dog tries to join them. But, overall they are both great with dogs and people. Lovey's tongue has a mind of its own and will lick you constantly if you let her. Lovey's biggest health issue is stage B2 mitral valve disease. She is currently on one heart medication daily and should have another echo in 5-6 months. Lovey is spayed, toothless, up to date on vaccines, and recently had full blood work. Ladybug has a history of seizures although we have never seen one in the months she's been with us. She currently takes one seizure medication daily. Ladybug has stage B1 mitral valve disease and is not on any heart medication at this time. Ladybug is spayed, just had all her teeth removed, up to date on vaccines, and recently had full blood work. These two girls have so much love to give and we hope to find them an amazing home together where they can be spoiled! Story
Prince is a loving, energetic Pitbull Terrier mix, just under 2 years old. I adopted him at about 4 months old with his brother Royal. Prince warmed up to us quickly and showed a playful, friendly personality from the start. As he grew, he became shy around unfamiliar people. At his first vet visit around 6 months old he was shaking from nerves, but he has never shown aggression and adjusts with patience. At home, Prince is active, playful, and loves to run around. He is great with my kids who are 11, 8, and 3 years old and gets along very well with Royal. He has not been around other dogs besides Royal nor has he been around cats, so slow introductions would be important. Due to my work schedule, family responsibilities, and financial strain, I cannot give Prince and Royal the consistent care they deserve. Prince needs a caring home with someone who can provide attention, patience, and space for him to be his playful self.
