Story
Peebles is the kind of little dog who walks into a room and somehow becomes the center of attention without even trying. This tiny 8-pound Papillon/Chihuahua mix is about 3 years old, and she has already perfected the art of making people fall completely in love with her. She is a little social butterfly who thinks the world is wonderful and everyone in it is a potential best friend. Dogs, cats, people—Peebles loves them all!And then there is her favorite thing in the world: your lap. The second you sit down, Peebles believes that is where she belongs. She is a true cuddlebug who wants to be close, loved, held, and included. She isn’t the kind of dog who is happy admiring you from across the room. She wants to be your little shadow and your constant companion. She is also an absolute showstopper. Those adorable Papillon ears, her tiny size, sweet face, and happy little personality make her incredibly hard to resist. Peebles has a way of making people smile the moment they meet her, and she seems to genuinely believe everyone she encounters is simply a new friend waiting to be loved.Peebles is still working on her house training. She was previously trained to use pee pads, so she has a foundation and is now learning to make the transition to going outside. Leash walking is also a work in progress, but she is learning. What she really wants is a securely fenced little yard where she can run, play, sniff, and enjoy some carefree time without being attached to a leash. She doesn’t need a huge yard—just a safe fenced space where she can be a happy little dog. And she absolutely loves to prance around her foster mom’s yard!Peebles is currently in a foster home in Nashville, Tennessee, and she can travel on Critter Cavalry Rescue’s weekend transport to the right forever family. She may be tiny, but she has a huge personality and even more love to give. If you have been looking for a little companion who will happily become your shadow, your lap warmer, your adventure buddy, and your very best friend, Peebles may be the little girl you’ve been waiting for.If you think your lap might be the one Peebles has been looking for, please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com.August 23, 2026, 11:53 am

✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to JFK/EWR💟 The prices listed are based on USD, and the adoption fee will be calculated in CAD according to the exchange rate. Meet Moongji🖤🤍 💙 Name: Moongji 💙 Gender: Male 💙 Age: Estimated 6 years old (Born in August 2019) 💙 Weight: 10.8 kg / 23.8 lb 💙 Adogs Updates Account: @_adogs_ 1. Health Condition * Neutered. * Microchipped, and heartworm negative upon retest. 2. Rescue Story * Moonji was living in a yard in Gimje. Unfortunately, as his elderly owners’ health declined, the dogs were left without proper care for a long time. Adogs gave the owners some time to say goodbye to their beloved dogs before safely rescuing Moonji along with five other dogs. 3. Basic Information * With People: Is a little shy around strangers at first, but quickly warms up if offered treats. When male volunteers visited the Center, he approached first, asking for pets. If young children are holding treats, he may try to take them from them, so caution is needed. * With Dogs: Is not very interested in other dogs and prefers spending time alone. Prefers quiet and nonchalant friends. * Separation Anxiety: Unknown, as he currently lives in a group setting at our center. * Potty Training: Potties inside his kennel and also marks on poles. Will need basic training in a home environment. * Walks: When he feels uncomfortable, he might get stubborn and stop walking, but most of the time, he follows his handler well. * Car Sickness: Travels well in the car without motion sickness during short car rides. * Biting: Has a strong appetite so he growls and bares his teeth a little if you pet him when he’s eating. May get mouthy if you forcefully try to hold him. Doesn’t show aggression otherwise. * Barking: Sometimes barks when he’s impatient for food or treats. Only gets loud when food is involved. * Likes: Loves treats! Even when shy, treats help him open up and respond well to training. Likes to rest in the sunlight. * Dislikes: Becomes cautious and uncomfortable with loud noises or when held forcefully. Is uncomfortable when strangers approach him. * Personality: Has low energy levels, so is generally quiet and well-behaved. Has an independent streak and is a true "gentle dog" who knows how to enjoy his own downtime.

Story
Jasmine (born: 3/20/2012) is 22 pounds. DNA revealed that Jasmine, is 50.2% Papillion, 22.3% Pembroke Welsh Corgi, 19.7% Chihuahua and 7.8% Pekingese. A social worker advised the Society that there was a little dog in need. Her owner could not take care of her anymore, as she herself would be going into the hospital and not coming home. Because the woman was critically ill, she was not able to look after this little dog properly and Jasmine needed medical attention. We agreed to take the dog in. After an extensive medical workup, Jasmine was available for adoption Jasmine is selective with her friends, but if you approach with gentleness and patience, you might just pass her exclusive friendship test! Once you’re in, get ready for a lifetime of love and loyalty. She adores leisurely walks, being pampered, and basking in admiration. She may not be a fan of cats or kids, but for the right human(s), Jasmine will be a loving companion. We really appreciate that you want to give a shelter animal a home. The Humane Society of New York was founded in 1904. The Vladimir Horowitz/Wanda Toscanini Horowitz Adoption Center is a no-kill shelter. Our on-site clinic and staff of skilled Veterinarians looks after the health and well-being of every animal here. We also have a great adoption matchmaking team who will gladly take your profile and match you or your pet with just the right cat or dog companion. We start the process once you have submitted an application to us. Once a completed application is received, the HSNY Adoption Team will review it and we will contact you if we are going to take next steps. Story
I received Lola when she was 3 months old. Agreed with a friend to care for her until she could find a suitable home, as her landlord did not allow pets. This friend never bothered to rehome Lola. I've had her for almost 3 years. She is a beautiful and loving pet; I've grown very fond of her, but unfortunately, I am no longer able to care for her. It breaks my heart, but I know she would be happier with a loving, caring human who can give her the love she deserves. She loves hard, you will feel the aches (lol) She is up to date with her shots. I am not sure as to what breed she is, as she was originally a rescued pup.
