Story
Peebles is the kind of little dog who walks into a room and somehow becomes the center of attention without even trying. This tiny 8-pound Papillon/Chihuahua mix is about 3 years old, and she has already perfected the art of making people fall completely in love with her. She is a little social butterfly who thinks the world is wonderful and everyone in it is a potential best friend. Dogs, cats, people—Peebles loves them all!And then there is her favorite thing in the world: your lap. The second you sit down, Peebles believes that is where she belongs. She is a true cuddlebug who wants to be close, loved, held, and included. She isn’t the kind of dog who is happy admiring you from across the room. She wants to be your little shadow and your constant companion. She is also an absolute showstopper. Those adorable Papillon ears, her tiny size, sweet face, and happy little personality make her incredibly hard to resist. Peebles has a way of making people smile the moment they meet her, and she seems to genuinely believe everyone she encounters is simply a new friend waiting to be loved.Peebles is still working on her house training. She was previously trained to use pee pads, so she has a foundation and is now learning to make the transition to going outside. Leash walking is also a work in progress, but she is learning. What she really wants is a securely fenced little yard where she can run, play, sniff, and enjoy some carefree time without being attached to a leash. She doesn’t need a huge yard—just a safe fenced space where she can be a happy little dog. And she absolutely loves to prance around her foster mom’s yard!Peebles is currently in a foster home in Nashville, Tennessee, and she can travel on Critter Cavalry Rescue’s weekend transport to the right forever family. She may be tiny, but she has a huge personality and even more love to give. If you have been looking for a little companion who will happily become your shadow, your lap warmer, your adventure buddy, and your very best friend, Peebles may be the little girl you’ve been waiting for.If you think your lap might be the one Peebles has been looking for, please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com.August 29, 2026, 12:15 pm

Story
Grace was surrendered to a shelter with her housemate Rocky. Both were scheduled to be euthanized within the week due to fear/anxiety/stress within the shelter. Pulled by this rescue on their scheduled D-Day, Grace had pneumonia and obvious ongoing malnutrition. Once out of the shelter environment she began to open up to her foster Mom. Pneumonia was treated, she was able to get spayed, and now she is a zig zag wiggleworm of excitement! She is silly, fun, playful, happy, fetches, wrestles, and gives kisses! You have to earn her trust before she comes to you, but that is a fair ask! Currently working on potty training and getting more weight on her and leash training. Goal will be about 25#. She will excel in a home with a fenced yard, daily exercise (she has plenty of energy now!) and people who understand her wariness of anything/anyone. She is an absolute doll that will melt your heart. She takes treats from yiur hands like a sneaky raccoon… slowly and carefully, then runs off to eat them! Realizing she couldn't survive much longer in those conditions, Adogs stepped in urgently to rescue her. 3️⃣ Personality & Traits * With People: Extremely friendly! Story
✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to JFK/EWR💟 The prices listed are based on USD, and the adoption fee will be calculated in CAD according to the exchange rate. 💙 Name: Iya 💙 Gender: Female 💙 Age: Estimated 8 months old (Born in December 2025) 💙 Weight: 5.3 kg / 11.68 lb 💙 Iya's News Account:@iyaa_iyaa_0704 1️⃣ Health Condition * Spayed. * Microchipped. 2️⃣ Rescue Story * Iya was staying at the Gimje City Shelter. As a young puppy requiring intensive care, she could not be left in the shelter environment highly vulnerable to infectious diseases, so Adogs rescued her urgently. 3️⃣ Basic Information ❗As a young puppy, she may need training in areas such as separation anxiety, potty habits, biting, nipping, whining, disorderly behaviors, howling, and barking. ❗It is difficult to predict her shedding and growth size because her parents are unknown. ❗Puppies under 10 months of age grow rapidly, so her current appearance may slightly differ from the photos. * With People: Is very shy around strangers, so she is wary of people at first. But after becoming familiar, she opens her heart bit by bit and allows pets. Sometimes avoids when people come close to her but has become a lot better. * With Dogs: Got along well and played with other dogs while at the center. Likes food and may try to guard it, so caution is necessary. * With Cats: Didn't react to a cat she met during a walk. * Separation Anxiety: Shows no separation anxiety at all. Rather, she tends to explore and rest more comfortably when people are not around. * Potty Training: Has 100 % success rate on pottying. She had begun to develop a habit of eating her poop, but this has naturally resolved after redirecting her interest towards toys. * Hygiene: Dislikes baths and drying, but she endures and gets through it well. Gets brushed daily and does well with it. * Walks: Doesn’t want to move due to fear when the walk first starts, but this has become better after desensitization training. She now walks well in familiar places. * Car Sickness: Usually enjoys short drives, looking out the window comfortably. Even on long trips, she has never really shown symptoms of motion sickness. * Biting: Can get startled by sudden touch and might get mouthy out of surprise, but she is not aggressive and does not actually bite. It's best to give her time and approach her patiently. Doesn’t show posessiveness. * Barking: While playing alone at night, she may whine if she hears something. Whines when people get close or when she wants to express herself. * Likes: Loves eating treats but she prefers not to be watched while eating. Also likes squeaky toys. * Dislikes: Is shy around people, so she doesn't like physical contact. Especially dislikes attempts to hold her or touch her front paws. Has improved a lot and stays still when held at the hospital. * Personality: Has a timid personality and tends to hide in corners because she is shy around strangers. If you approach slowly and wait for her, she will open her heart little by little.
