Meet Moongji🖤🤍 💙 Adogs Updates Account: @_adogs_ 1⃣ Health Condition * Neutered. * Microchipped, and heartworm negative upon retest. 2⃣ Rescue Story * Moonji was living in a yard in Gimje. Unfortunately, as his elderly owners’ health declined, the dogs were left without proper care for a long time. Adogs gave the owners some time to say goodbye to their beloved dogs before safely rescuing Moonji along with five other dogs. 3⃣ Basic Information * With People: Is a little shy around strangers at first, but quickly warms up if offered treats. When male volunteers visited the Center, he approached first, asking for pets. If young children are holding treats, he may try to take them from them, so caution is needed. * With Dogs: Is not very interested in other dogs and prefers spending time alone. Prefers quiet and nonchalant friends. * Separation Anxiety: Unknown, as he currently lives in a group setting at our center. * Potty Training: Potties inside his kennel and also marks on poles. Will need basic training in a home environment. * Walks: When he feels uncomfortable, he might get stubborn and stop walking, but most of the time, he follows his handler well. * Car Sickness: Travels well in the car without motion sickness during short car rides. * Biting: Has a strong appetite so he growls and bares his teeth a little if you pet him when he’s eating. May get mouthy if you forcefully try to hold him. Doesn’t show aggression otherwise. * Barking: Sometimes barks when he’s impatient for food or treats. * LIkes: Loves treats! Even when shy, treats help him open up and respond well to training. Likes to rest in the sunlight. * Dislikes: Becomes cautious and uncomfortable with loud noises or when held forcefully. Is uncomfortable when strangers approach him. * Personality: Has a low energy level, so he is generally quiet and well-behaved. Has an independent streak and is a true "gentle dog" who knows how to enjoy his own downtime.

Story
Jasmine (born: 3/20/2012) is 22 pounds. DNA revealed that Jasmine, is 50.2% Papillion, 22.3% Pembroke Welsh Corgi, 19.7% Chihuahua and 7.8% Pekingese. A social worker advised the Society that there was a little dog in need. Her owner could not take care of her anymore, as she herself would be going into the hospital and not coming home. Because the woman was critically ill, she was not able to look after this little dog properly and Jasmine needed medical attention. We agreed to take the dog in. After an extensive medical workup, Jasmine was available for adoption Jasmine is selective with her friends, but if you approach with gentleness and patience, you might just pass her exclusive friendship test! Once you’re in, get ready for a lifetime of love and loyalty. She adores leisurely walks, being pampered, and basking in admiration. She may not be a fan of cats or kids, but for the right human(s), Jasmine will be a loving companion. We really appreciate that you want to give a shelter animal a home. The Humane Society of New York was founded in 1904. The Vladimir Horowitz/Wanda Toscanini Horowitz Adoption Center is a no-kill shelter. Story
This adorable, light on her feet, tiny little girl is called Lilly and she is a pure bred Cavapoo that was born 6/18/2019 and weighs 14 pounds. As you can see from the pictures she loves to jump high in the air for treats and her smile makes your heart just pitter patter with joy.  She is a velcro girl that will make you feel like you are the center of her universe and wherever you go she wants to go also.  She is housebroken and does not have to be crated when left home alone.  She would love to be adopted with her brother Jax but it is not a requirement.  Jax is 24 pounds and they do love each other.   If you have another dog already in the home then Lilly can certainly adjust to a new friend and buddy.   Lilly was originally bought with Jax to be the dog children of a woman who has fallen on tough times and has had to move to a 'no-pets allowed' apartment building.  Her mom has taken then in and is working together with Critter Cavalry Rescue to find the best new forever homes for each one...together or separate.  You can be assured this little darling is wonderful with other dogs, (cats not known)  and certainly never meets a stranger.  Lilly is so smart and she taps on the door to let you know that she wants to go outside for a potty break. Good on a leash, she would be a charming companion for neighborhood walks any time of day.  This totally healthy, happy and harmonious spirit of a girl is ready to pack her bags and take the journey to next adventure in life.  Could she be coming to you?  Please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com  PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comApril 21, 2026, 9:05 pm

Story
This handsome apricot guy with the best smile of the week, is called Jax and he is a pure bred Cavapoo that was born 6/18/2019 and weighs 24 pounds. As you can see from the pictures he loves to pose for the camera and always seems to be wearing a happy smile for all to enjoy.  These wonderful smiles make your heart feel that you are his most important person in the room. This guy is your shadow all day if you let him be your sidekick. You will be the center of his world and he will love running errands, going on neighborhood adventures and he will be a great walking partner during these upcoming Spring days and warm Summer evenings. Wherever you go he wants to go also.  Jax needs a schedule for outside pottybreaks and he is really good at going when you want. We don't think he will need a crate when you are gone for short times but longer ones a crate would be necessary. He would love to be adopted with his sister Lilly  but it is not a requirement. Lilly is 14 pounds and they do love each other.  If you have another dog already in the home then Jax can certainly adjust to a new friend and dog pal.  Jax and Lilly originally were bought to be the dog children of a woman who has fallen on tough times and has had to move to a 'no-pets allowed' apartment building.  Her mom has taken then in and is working together with Critter Cavalry Rescue to find the best new forever homes for each one...together or separate.  You can be assured this little darling is wonderful with other dogs, children, (cats not known)  and he certainly never meets a stranger.
