✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to JFK/EWR💟 The prices listed are based on USD, and the adoption fee will be calculated in CAD according to the exchange rate. Meet Moongji🖤🤍 💙 Name: Moongji 💙 Gender: Male 💙 Age: Estimated 6 years old (Born in August 2019) 💙 Weight: 10.8 kg / 23.8 lb 💙 Adogs Updates Account: @_adogs_ 1. Health Condition * Neutered. * Microchipped, and heartworm negative upon retest. 2. Rescue Story * Moonji was living in a yard in Gimje. Unfortunately, as his elderly owners’ health declined, the dogs were left without proper care for a long time. Adogs gave the owners some time to say goodbye to their beloved dogs before safely rescuing Moonji along with five other dogs. 3. Basic Information * With People: Is a little shy around strangers at first, but quickly warms up if offered treats. When male volunteers visited the Center, he approached first, asking for pets. If young children are holding treats, he may try to take them from them, so caution is needed. * With Dogs: Is not very interested in other dogs and prefers spending time alone. Prefers quiet and nonchalant friends. * Separation Anxiety: Unknown, as he currently lives in a group setting at our center. * Potty Training: Potties inside his kennel and also marks on poles. Will need basic training in a home environment. * Walks: When he feels uncomfortable, he might get stubborn and stop walking, but most of the time, he follows his handler well. * Car Sickness: Travels well in the car without motion sickness during short car rides. * Biting: Has a strong appetite so he growls and bares his teeth a little if you pet him when he’s eating. May get mouthy if you forcefully try to hold him. Doesn’t show aggression otherwise. * Barking: Sometimes barks when he’s impatient for food or treats. Only gets loud when food is involved. * Likes: Loves treats! Even when shy, treats help him open up and respond well to training. Likes to rest in the sunlight. * Dislikes: Becomes cautious and uncomfortable with loud noises or when held forcefully. Is uncomfortable when strangers approach him. * Personality: Has low energy levels, so is generally quiet and well-behaved. Has an independent streak and is a true "gentle dog" who knows how to enjoy his own downtime.

Story
Grace was surrendered to a shelter with her housemate Rocky. Both were scheduled to be euthanized within the week due to fear/anxiety/stress within the shelter. Pulled by this rescue on their scheduled D-Day, Grace had pneumonia and obvious ongoing malnutrition. Once out of the shelter environment she began to open up to her foster Mom. Pneumonia was treated, she was able to get spayed, and now she is a zig zag wiggleworm of excitement! She is silly, fun, playful, happy, fetches, wrestles, and gives kisses! You have to earn her trust before she comes to you, but that is a fair ask! Currently working on potty training and getting more weight on her and leash training. Goal will be about 25#. She will excel in a home with a fenced yard, daily exercise (she has plenty of energy now!) and people who understand her wariness of anything/anyone. She is an absolute doll that will melt your heart. She takes treats from yiur hands like a sneaky raccoon… slowly and carefully, then runs off to eat them! Story
Hayes is a 7-year-old chihuahua mix who weighs around 6 pounds, and while he may be a little shy at first, he's an incredibly sweet little dog who's well worth the wait. He likes to take his time getting to know new people, but once he feels comfortable, his affectionate side comes out in full force. He'll happily throw himself onto your lap for pets and quickly turns into a world-class cuddle bug. One of Hayes' greatest joys in life is grass. Give him a soft patch to wander, sniff, or simply relax in, and you'll have one very happy little dog. He's also polite around other dogs, though big dogs getting right in his face can make him feel a little intimidated. Even then, he stays calm and simply prefers to give them some space. Hayes is currently working on his house-training and continues to make great progress. He's also not much of a fan of the crate and would much rather be curled up next to his favorite person. He's looking for a patient adopter who will let him settle in at his own pace and give him the time he needs to build trust. Once he does, you'll discover a loving little companion who wants nothing more than to be close to you. Registered adopters interested in Hayes can email adopt@hbrdogs.com for more info. If you're not registered yet, apply today at hbrdogs.com.

Story
Jasmine (born: 3/20/2012) is 22 pounds. DNA revealed that Jasmine, is 50.2% Papillion, 22.3% Pembroke Welsh Corgi, 19.7% Chihuahua and 7.8% Pekingese. A social worker advised the Society that there was a little dog in need. Her owner could not take care of her anymore, as she herself would be going into the hospital and not coming home. Because the woman was critically ill, she was not able to look after this little dog properly and Jasmine needed medical attention. We agreed to take the dog in. After an extensive medical workup, Jasmine was available for adoption Jasmine is selective with her friends, but if you approach with gentleness and patience, you might just pass her exclusive friendship test! Once you’re in, get ready for a lifetime of love and loyalty. She adores leisurely walks, being pampered, and basking in admiration. She may not be a fan of cats or kids, but for the right human(s), Jasmine will be a loving companion. We really appreciate that you want to give a shelter animal a home. The Humane Society of New York was founded in 1904. The Vladimir Horowitz/Wanda Toscanini Horowitz Adoption Center is a no-kill shelter. Story
✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to JFK/EWR💟 The prices listed are based on USD, and the adoption fee will be calculated in CAD according to the exchange rate. 💙 Name: Iya 💙 Gender: Female 💙 Age: Estimated 8 months old (Born in December 2025) 💙 Weight: 5.3 kg / 11.68 lb 💙 Iya's News Account:@iyaa_iyaa_0704 1️⃣ Health Condition * Spayed. * Microchipped. 2️⃣ Rescue Story * Iya was staying at the Gimje City Shelter. As a young puppy requiring intensive care, she could not be left in the shelter environment highly vulnerable to infectious diseases, so Adogs rescued her urgently. 3️⃣ Basic Information ❗As a young puppy, she may need training in areas such as separation anxiety, potty habits, biting, nipping, whining, disorderly behaviors, howling, and barking. ❗It is difficult to predict her shedding and growth size because her parents are unknown. ❗Puppies under 10 months of age grow rapidly, so her current appearance may slightly differ from the photos. * With People: Is very shy around strangers, so she is wary of people at first. But after becoming familiar, she opens her heart bit by bit and allows pets. Sometimes avoids when people come close to her but has become a lot better. * With Dogs: Got along well and played with other dogs while at the center. Likes food and may try to guard it, so caution is necessary. * With Cats: Didn't react to a cat she met during a walk. * Separation Anxiety: Shows no separation anxiety at all. Rather, she tends to explore and rest more comfortably when people are not around. * Potty Training: Has 100 % success rate on pottying. She had begun to develop a habit of eating her poop, but this has naturally resolved after redirecting her interest towards toys. * Hygiene: Dislikes baths and drying, but she endures and gets through it well. Gets brushed daily and does well with it. * Walks: Doesn’t want to move due to fear when the walk first starts, but this has become better after desensitization training. She now walks well in familiar places. * Car Sickness: Usually enjoys short drives, looking out the window comfortably. Even on long trips, she has never really shown symptoms of motion sickness. * Biting: Can get startled by sudden touch and might get mouthy out of surprise, but she is not aggressive and does not actually bite. It's best to give her time and approach her patiently. Doesn’t show posessiveness. * Barking: While playing alone at night, she may whine if she hears something. Whines when people get close or when she wants to express herself. * Likes: Loves eating treats but she prefers not to be watched while eating. Also likes squeaky toys. * Dislikes: Is shy around people, so she doesn't like physical contact. Especially dislikes attempts to hold her or touch her front paws. Has improved a lot and stays still when held at the hospital. * Personality: Has a timid personality and tends to hide in corners because she is shy around strangers. If you approach slowly and wait for her, she will open her heart little by little.
