Hello there! My name is Maxi, and I am ready to fit right into your home! I am a 1.5-year-old, 9 pound Papillon with lovely manners and the cutest underbite. My foster mom has seen me get along with all dogs, all people, and the resident cat. My coat is silky-soft, with low-to-moderate shed, and I make a great couch snuggler! I enjoy walks, socializing with the neighbors and their dogs, a little bit of play, and naps with my foster mom, foster dad, and my canine and feline foster brothers. I am crate-trained, fully house trained, haven’t barked much in my foster mom’s condo, and the vet reported that I was in perfect health. My foster mom lets me roam the house, and I haven’t chewed on or gotten into anything. My foster mom said that I am the easiest foster she has ever had! I was well loved, socialized, and trained before coming into Take Me Home Pet Rescue, but unfortunately a human in my household was allergic to dogs and ultimately they asked TMHPR to find me a new great home. My name was originally Max, but since there was already a Max in the rescue, I am now going by Maxi. I am looking for a human who wants my sweet, adorable looks and snuggles for the rest of my life.
