There you have it! I was living alone in the pound and being a smart and sensitive Jack Russel boy and I was totally shut down.... I didn't want to trust anyone and the loud pound, filled with scared animals who are desperate to get out alive......... and I was one of them. So I was SO SO SO LUCKY, one of the rescue ladies happened to stop by to see ME!! She heard about my predicament being so scared and untrusting.... and she decided to give ME a chance!! NOW I am living the good "foster" life ;) I have lots of friends to hang with and other than the cats I am LOVING my "foster" life :) I am ready for my very own family, I am smart and sweet and may take a day or so to settle in but it will happen and then after that.... you will fall hard for my sweet and CUDDLY personality. ADOPT ME SOON!! I am ready for you! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Koda is a love bug whose favorite place is in your lap napping. Very gentle in all his interactions with people and loves to be petted. No signs of destructiveness or resource guarding. He enjoys his walks and is good on the leash. He is responsive to training and learning what he can and can’t do in the house. He has a soft mouth, gentle when he takes treats and plays tug or ball. He sleeps through the night and naps often in the day. Koda would do best as a single dog with at least one person who works from home or is retired. He is cautious, but seems to settle down and gets curious after about 15-20 minutes when he is in new situations. He is progressing nicely in gaining confidence, but will need someone who is patient and willing to work with him to learn the world isn’t a scary place. We are rehoming because this sweet boy and our original dog are not meshing and he deserves to be the king of the castle and in return you will be showered with licks and love.
