Story

Scout is an old soul in a puppy body! This 9-week-old, JRT mix is a sweet and kind guy who prefers gentle belly rubs and snuggles over all else. He rarely says a peep, but if you can't find him look behind you because he is in your shadow! He would absolutely love to be someone's snuggle buddy, walking partner, and coffee patio sampler once he is fully vaccinated. While his legs may be short his love for his people has no limit! And while he coexists with other furry companions in the home he considers himself a "people dog and less of a "dog dog. You'll never wake up to a cuter bedhead than his scruff! He is up to date on age-appropriate vaccines and preventatives and will need to be neutered at the age of 6 months. This dog's adoption fee is $400. ***Note that puppy adoption fees most often help generate revenue that goes towards older, special needs animals that need our help. Surgeries, heartworm treatment, boarding costs....all things that often result in adoptable dogs and cats being left behind to be euthanized. So adopting a puppy saves not just one life, but many! Puppies require an adopter who is home a good part of the day to continue their training - no exceptions! They are up-to-date on age appropriate vaccines and preventatives and will need to be spayed/neutered at the age of 6 months. Please note, this pup's immune system will not be fully functioning until about 16 weeks of age and therefore, s/he is not suited for Apartment/Condo living or Town homes without a private fenced yard and will not be able to go to public places where s/he could possibly be exposed to the germs of unvaccinated dogs, such as PetSmart/PetCo and dog parks until s/he is 16 weeks old.
