Story
Hi, my name Milo and I am a 7 year old Jack Russel mix who loves adult companionship. I love to snuggle up on the couch with adults and enjoy short walks. I am older and looking for a calm environment without young kids. I am fully potty trained and am looking for someone who is looking for a new owner. I am very loved at my current home but I don’t enjoy the stress of small children.

Story
COURTESY POST We need to find a new home for our beloved dog, Sid. He is a purebred rat terrier who will be 10 years old in April. Sid is a wonderful dog with lots of life left, but we’ve come to the conclusion that he needs a home without young children that can provide him with regular mental and physical stimulation. He loves walks, hikes, and practicing agility. He has done some nose work as well. Sid is very smart and treat motivated, so can be really fun to work with!  However, Sid also deals with chronic anxiety, which is well managed with medication, but the small kids we have at home are too much for him. Sid currently lives with another dog about his size and loves to play with her, but can be reactive to bigger dogs (and cats). Aside from being on a low fat diet to manage some chronic pancreas issues, he is in great physical health.  When he’s not acting like he has the energy of a puppy, he is a couch potato who loves to snuggle. At the end of the day, he really needs a quieter home than we can provide, where he can also get some daily exercise. If you’re interested or want more information, please contact us for more info. We are asking for a $100 refining fee.All of our dogs are in private foster homes. We are not a shelter with hours. A visit can be arranged after an adoption questionnaire has been filled out and sent in. Please try to email first. We are all volunteers that work so we can not easily take or make phone calls.January 6, 2026, 9:20 pm
