Story
&#226&#156&#168 Meet Lavish – Small Dog, Big Main Character Energy &#226&#156&#168 Lavish is a 6-year-old terrier mix who weighs in at a mighty 12 pounds and somehow manages to fill an entire room with personality. Don’t let his size fool you—this little guy is a professional love bug who thinks everyone he meets is his new best friend. Lavish is outgoing, happy, and always ready to charm you with his very cute eyes (seriously… they should probably be registered as a controlled substance). He loves playing with toys, spreading joy, and reminding people that lap space is a shared resource. January 20, 2026, 10:32 am

Story
Meet Holland: Holland is estimated to be about a 2 year old (as of February 2026) rat terrier / kelpie mix (best guess) that weighs 23 pounds. Holland was found running around Memphis with 2 traveling companions. The trio were brought into a shelter and seemed shy. Our rescue was able to get them into a foster home where they have opened up. Holland is currently being fostered in the south and would love to take the freedom ride north to Pennsylvania to meet more prospective families. Holland is a cute, affectionate little guy. Holland loves to snuggle up to you at night and gets along well with other dogs in the foster home. Holland doesn't bark excessively and isn't destructive - he’s a great buddy to have around. Holland is currently house trained to a doggie door and may need some patience while adjusting to a new method. We would love for Holland to have a home with a fenced in yard so he can play freely. Holland is up to date on his shots and neutered. If you are interested in adding this little man into your life, please go to Charlie’s Crusaders website (www.charliescrusaders.org) to fill out an application. CURRENT LOCATION: Tennessee, awaiting transport to PA ##2650357##

Story
Meet Ripp: Ripp is estimated to be about a 5 year old (as of January 2026) rat terrier mix (best guess) that weighs 28 pounds. Ripp was surrendered by his owners to Animal Control in Brownsville, Tennessee early this year after they said they just didn't want a dog anymore. Luckily Charlie’s Crusaders heard of him and were able to get him into the rescue. Ripp is currently being fostered in the south and would love to take the freedom ride north to Pennsylvania to meet more prospective families. Ripp is a friendly little fellow that requires no time to get to know you. Ripp is playful and gentle and wants to be near you. Ripp is currently house trained to a doggie door and may need some patience while adjusting to a new method. We would love for Ripp to have a home with a fenced in yard so he can play freely. If you are interested in adding this little man into your life, please go to Charlie’s Crusaders website (www.charliescrusaders.org) to fill out an application. Story
Meet Big Hal: Big Hal is estimated to be about a 10 year old (as of January 2026) rat terrier mix (best guess) that weighs 17 pounds. Big Hal was taken in by animal control in Memphis and later acquired by Charlie's Crusaders. Big Hal is currently being fostered in the south and would love to take the freedom ride north to Pennsylvania to meet more prospective families. Big Hal didn't initially take to the facilities that the shelter had to offer and was a bit grumpy during his initial stay there. However, once one of the employees there took him into her office, he grew more satisfied with the accommodations and relaxed and became a well behaved little dog. When we got him, Big Hal was walking out on a leash with no problems and was quite content to be petted by strangers. He probably wouldn't do too well in a house where he was crated much of the time. Big Hal gets along with other dogs and shows no response to cats. He's not a playful puppy anymore, but he moves around the house and yard as robustly as anyone. Big Hal is house trained. We would love for Big Hal to have a home with a fenced in yard so he can play freely, but it is not a requirement. Big Hal is up to date on his shots and neutered. If you are interested in adding this older man into your life, please go to Charlie’s Crusaders website (www.charliescrusaders.org) to fill out an application.
