Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. 2nd Chance 4 Life Rescue is primarily a sanctuary for senior and medically needy dogs.  Every once in awhile you will see younger dogs but for the most part our dogs live out their life at the ranch at the request of their previous owners or their owners families.  We have many sponsorship dogs.  Our sponsors love to keep in touch and know how their sponsored fur buddy is doing :) When we have foster families we are thrilled to be able to take adoptable younger dogs :)  So if you have ever thought about becoming fosters please feel free to go to our foster/volunteer page and fill out an application. The Ranch located at 737 Taylor Rd., Windsor, PA is always looking for dedicated volunteers that will commit to at least a 2 hour shift per week at the rescue.  Volunteers work in play yards, help with laundry and feeding.  Some enjoy landscaping or carpentry projects and some like to bake for the healing center visitors :) Thank you for supporting our mission of caring for the elderly and medically needy souls that need us! Hi there! My name’s Daisey, and I’m currently living in a cozy foster home—but what I really want is a forever home to call my own!  I’m a sweet, loving pup who just wants to be by your side, whether we’re out for a walk, playing fetch, or curled up for snuggles on the couch. My foster family says I have the biggest heart and the happiest tail wags! I’ve been learning all my manners. If your looking for a bestfriend i might just be your girl!!  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Please fill out an adoption application: Adoption application (Dog) Adoption Application (Cat)   Please understand we do not adopt out dogs to families with children under the age of 5. We do not adopt dogs to renters. Some dogs will have fence requirements while others may not. A pet is a lifetime commitment. The dogs and cats in our system find themselves there, for the most part, because their humans did not have the same loyalty to them as they did to their owners. We do not take the adoption process lightly, and will do everything in our power to make sure the animal is placed correctly the first time around for your sake and theirs. Thank you for choosing to adopt not shop! Hello, my name is Angel — and yes, I really am living up to my name because I’m a little sweetheart! I used to live in a camper with six other dogs. We all got along, but it wasn’t a fun or safe way to live. Thankfully the authorities stepped in and saved us! Now I get to start fresh and finally learn what it’s like to be loved and valued. At the Rescue Ranch, I’m discovering grass under my paws, zoomies in the big field, and friends who make me feel special. No more dirt floors for me — 2nd Chance promised me that! YAY! Now all I need is a forever family to complete my happy ending. Could that be you? I require another small dog to play with and a fenced yard :) Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Please fill out an adoption application: Adoption application (Dog) Adoption Application (Cat)   Please understand we do not adopt out dogs to families with children under the age of 5. Story
Beau is a sweet dog, 1 year 4 month old Jack Russell Terrier, that loves kids. He likes other dogs as long as they don't bully him because he can be timid and is cat friendly.  His foster says he is a people dog and would rather spend time following her around. He is housebroken, really likes treats and likes to use his crate which is included with his adoption. Because he is timid it takes a minute for him to warm up.  He is a little guy, only 13 lbs.  Beau is neutered, micro-chipped, and up to date on age appropriate vaccines. Beau is currently out in foster. This handsome canine  is available for meet n greets at the Pet Pantry's main facility, 26 Millersville Road, Lancaster. If you think he may be the perfect match for your family please fill out an adoption application! Applications are available at our location as well as online at  petpantrylc.org . From there, our adoption coordinator will be in touch! December 12, 2025, 4:47 pm
