Story
Name: DenzelGender: Neutered MaleBreed: Long Haired Chihuahua-PekineseAge: 5 years oldLocation: Arcade Looking for a handsome man for those holiday parties? I’m Denzel and I’m your guy! And yes…I AM as cool and talented as my namesake, Mr. Washington. I am full grown at 12’ish pounds and quietly loving. I traveled from Texas with my buddy Cookie; we have been together 4 years but I would be ok without him by my side if there are humans to love on me 24/7! I just want to be with my people whether it be on your lap, by your side or at your feet. I am completely housebroken and love, love, LOVE to walk on my leash (but not far…I have little legs)! If you have other dogs or dogs that visit frequently I will need slow introductions because I am not as trusting of them as my buddy Cookie is! And absolutely no cats for me…I try to eat them! I have met a boy who visits me daily and I like him so I think I would be ok with any age group.Denzel:• Is housebroken with a regular schedule;• Knows his name, stay, come and no;• Loves treats and will dance for them;• Enjoys walking on a leash;• Is dog-friendly;• Does not “do cats”;• Is not “yappy” but lets you know when someone approaches the house;• Smart, fun and loyal.Denzel would do best in a home where he is not left alone for long periods of time, especially if adopted without his buddy Cookie. Denzel is used to being in an X-pen or a gated off area at night but would be super happy to sleep in your bed! Denzel will need regular brushing and grooming to avoid matting of his long, luxurious hair. Is Denzel the right pup for you? Available for adoption as of 12/20.If you are interested in adopting Denzel, please apply at www.716paws.org/adopt or message the page if already approved ##2608267##

Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.Okay, this little boy came with his name AVIS as an owner surrender!!!  But he does not respond to the name at all.  Even when he laying on my side relaxing does he respond to his name.  He loves to lay with you and cuddle but he is very obedient when you put him down because you need some room for yourself. AVIS is a 3 1/2 year old, 15 pound Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu.  The owner swore him as a Shih Tzu but he vet determined that he is mixed with Lhasa Apso.  Truth is he is just a mixture of beauty!!  And his temperament is sooooo sweet.  He was a bit shy when I first got him and he needed a few days to adjust before he became comfortable enough to run around with the other foster dogs.  He doesn't bother them and they do not bother him although he seems to enjoy watching them play.  He came from a home with a 12 year old dog. AVIS was owner surrendered because of some major lifestyle changes and she could no longer care for him.  In the past few months he has been living in several different environments.  I bet he would just like to be normal and stable in a loving home.  AVIS only had the 1 owner since he was a baby. He walks great on a leash, no pulling and he walks at your pace.  AVIS is a very easy going guy.  He for sure needs to be groomed but if I groom him it will be more of a hack job!! If you are interested in adopting AVIS, please submit an application on the website below.  Thank you. www.roxysk9rescue.org       ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. We transport across the United States. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption. Our organization is run by volunteers/foster parents, please be patient to give us time to respond to your emails and/or phone calls.  We will reply to you.  Thank you.         August 20, 2025, 12:57 pm

Story
DOB: 6/19/20Spayed female Bichon12 pounds Aspen is the sweetest little cuddle bug you’ll ever meet! This 5-year-old Bichon Frise is as affectionate as they come and loves nothing more than curling up on the couch next to her humans. She’s a calm and gentle soul with a laid-back attitude, making her the perfect companion for someone looking for a snuggly dog who enjoys quiet time and relaxed walks. Aspen has a beautiful, soft coat and is ready to be pampered! Aspen is mostly house-trained and crate-trained, but she much prefers to sleep with her humans and fur siblings at night, curling up next to you. She’s a bit of a couch potato and loves lounging around with her humans and fur siblings, but she also enjoys a short stroll around the neighborhood. Aspen is looking for a family or individual who values calm, loving companionship. She would do best in a quieter home where she can get plenty of love and attention. Because of her gentle nature, Aspen gets along great with other dogs and people, although she might be a little shy at first. She’s just looking for a soft lap or blanket to sit on and a home where she can be your little shadow and follow around another dog sibling.  Are you Aspen's perfect home? She’s ready to find her forever family and give all her love to the right person! ##2614898##
