Bureau of Dog Law Enforcement—Kennel License #2617Could he do well with kids? Yes, with children around 12 years, on a kid-by-kid basis.Could he do well with other dogs? Yes, on a dog-by-dog basis.Has this dog lived with cats? Yes. [The Lycoming County SPCA does not “cat test” dogs per the Association of Shelter Veterinarian’s Guidelines for Standards of Care in Animal Shelters.]---Condensed Staff Assessment Notes: Henry is part of a group of animals that came into our care due to an animal hoarding situation. These dogs lived in a large pack, free to roam the home, but they didn’t receive much individual attention or socialization with new sights and sounds. Many of them have never worn collars, are unfamiliar with leashes, and being outside is frightening. While you can catch glimpses of their unique personalities, most of these dogs are not accustomed to functioning independently and can easily become overwhelmed. They are very loving animals but lack the confidence to seek out interactions. At this time, all members of the group should be considered flight risks.---For more resources to help with any step of your adoption journey go to: https://go.petadoptiongateway.com/LycomingDT
