Story
Gizmo is the sweetest “little bear” you’ll ever meet. This senior Chi–Pekingese mix is as gentle and loving as they come, with a face that will melt you instantly and a personality that makes you wonder how you ever lived without him. Gizmo is wonderfully easy to have around. He walks nicely on a leash, gets along well with other dogs, and has even shown zero concern about a cat his size (or bigger!). While he can be a bit shy when meeting new people, it doesn’t take long for his warm, affectionate nature to shine through. At heart, Gizmo is a simple guy—he just wants to be close to his person. A cozy bed, a quiet home, and most importantly, a lap to curl up in are all on his wishlist. He’s happiest when he’s near you, soaking up love and companionship. He’s also making great progress with house training and recently made it through the night without an accident—go Gizmo! With regular potty breaks (about every couple of hours), he continues to build on his success. He has a healthy appetite and enjoys his routine. Gizmo finds comfort in his crate and will happily use it as his safe space. He settles in well when left alone for a few hours, making him a great companion for someone with a balanced schedule. www.mostlymuttz.org Link to Gizmo’s bio: https://www.wagtopia.com/search/pet?id=2711180&name=Gizmo #mostlymuttzrescue #adoptme #seniordogsrock   Available 5/2/2026 Mostly Muttz Rescue, PO Box 406, Gilbertsville, PA 19525PA Kennel License 10872 ##2711180##

Story
●Rescue Story Jjajang was rescued from the euthanasia list at Jeongeup City Shelter. Thanks to timely intervention, he was given a second chance at life and moved into a foster home, where he has been able to decompress and show his true, gentle personality. ●Temperament & Behavior Jjajang is a calm and sensitive dog who prefers a peaceful environment. He does not enjoy overly energetic or pushy dogs, regardless of their size. He may be able to coexist with another dog who has low energy or shows little interest in him, but he may be happiest as the only dog in the home. When he feels bothered, he communicates clearly by giving a soft growl as a “please stop” signal. His compatibility with cats has not yet been tested. With people, Jjajang is initially cautious. Sudden approaches or reaching out to touch him can be scary for him. However, if someone sits calmly nearby, he will often approach on his own and quietly ask for affection with gentle eye contact. ●Walking & Daily Life At first, Jjajang appeared timid on walks, but with consistent leash training, he now walks nicely beside his handler and matches their pace well. If startled, he may briefly crouch, but sitting down and softly calling his name helps him recover quickly. He loves sniffing during walks and is not food-driven outdoors. He navigates stairs well and is not significantly bothered by traffic noise. His shedding level is moderate, around 5 out of 10. He has no food allergies and is not a picky eater. ●Habits & Training Jjajang uses indoor pee pads reliably (100%) and also goes potty outdoors about 50% of the time. He accepts baths and brushing calmly without resistance. He does not have separation anxiety and is comfortable spending time alone. He is not a barker and remains quiet in the home. He rides well in the car and does not appear to experience motion sickness. ●Likes & Personality Jjajang is not particularly interested in toys and prefers quiet time resting on his own rather than high-energy play. He is easily startled by sudden approaches but becomes very affectionate once trust is built. He is currently living in a foster home.

Story
Noel is a sweet, super playful 2-year-old girl who loves walks, playing with other dogs, and bananas (her favorite 🍌). She has a fun, happy personality and really shines when she’s active or spending time outdoors. She’d do best in a home with other small dogs to play with and learn from. Noel is very loving and people-focused—she bonds closely with her person and loves being nearby. Noel is still building confidence with alone time and will need a patient adopter who’s committed to giving her structure, routine, and continued training. She can get overwhelmed when left alone right now, but she’s already making progress and will keep improving with consistency. Noel is potty trained on a regular schedule and does best with frequent opportunities to go outside. With the right home and guidance, Noel is going to be an incredibly loyal companion who brings so much love and energy into her forever home. 💛 Kennel License 18972 https://www.familiarhearts.org/adoptable-pets
