Introducing the shortest king around! Buccee is an approx. 3-month-old, 12 lb Corgi mix with the cutest little legs and an even sweeter personality. His legs may be short, but he’s already proving to be a very good boy. He sleeps through the night in his crate like a champ and is doing great with daytime crate training — after a brief 5–10 minute protest, he settles in nicely. Smart and adaptable? We think so. Like most puppies, Buccee is a little toothy right now, but he happily redirects to his toys and is learning what’s appropriate to chomp. He’s playful, curious, and ultimately just a total love who wants to be near his people. He gets along great with his three foster siblings and absolutely loves to play — whether it’s wrestling, chasing, or zooming around the yard. I'll be your loyal shadow who lives for love, tennis balls, and cozy calm days! Hi, I’m Basil! I’m a 5-year-old Pembroke Welsh Corgi with a huge heart and a very deep love for my people. I’m affectionate, loyal, and happiest when I’m spending time with the adults I’m bonded to. I love being close by, whether that’s hanging out on the couch, going for walks, or joining you on car rides and road trips. I’m playful and silly once I feel comfortable and I thrive in calm environments where I can relax, feel safe, and soak up attention. General Socialization Notes: When meeting new people, I may bark and jump out of excitement, but that’s just because I’m very affectionate and love people. Calm greetings and tasty treats help me settle quickly. Because I have chronic pain, I can sometimes become reactive in stressful situations, especially around other dogs. One of the main skills I’ve been working on is staying focused on my person during walks. Bringing treats and rewarding me as we pass other dogs helps me keep my attention on you instead of reacting, and I’ve made great progress with this approach. Continued positive reinforcement and consistency will be important for my success. Does Basil like other animals? I would do best as the only pet in the home. While I’ve lived with another dog before, I’m most comfortable and relaxed when I don’t have to share my space. Being an only dog helps me feel calmer and happier so I can fully enjoy life with my people and get all of the love! Does Basil like children? If I’m around children, they would need to be older, mature kids who understand how to respect a dog’s space and boundaries. I feel most comfortable in a calm, predictable environment, so a home with toddlers or very young children wouldn’t be the best fit for me. I'd prefer children 13 years old and older. Favorite Toys: I especially love toys I can play with alongside my humans. Fetching tennis balls and squeaky toys is my favorite! Kongs and lick mats keep me happily entertained on my own too. Ideal Forever Home: I would thrive in a calm, predictable home where I can be the only pet. I’m looking for adults who are patient, loving, and consistent with training, and if there are children in the home, older ones who can respect my space would be best for me. Most of all, I want a home where I can feel safe, loved, and truly part of the family. I’ve lived with my current family since I was a puppy, and they’ve always worked from home, so I’m used to having people around a lot. For my new home, I would love a family who can provide that same companionship, along with a secure yard where I can safely play and explore.

Teddie is a 3 year old small girl we're guessing to be a corgi or chihuahua mix. She will need a quieter home with patience and someone that gives her time to trust, she prefers her own space and some alone time. Since being in foster she has started engaging in play with other dogs. She has allowed her foster to come face to face and cuddle, and has discovered that she loves sleeping in bed with her foster mom. Leash training has been introduced with some resistance. She loves snacks. We have not seen her with kids or cats yet. She is about 25 lbs, spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines.
