Story
Alfie is an 8-year-old sweet, silly boy with a big heart. He was rescued from a backyard breeder and loves toys, walks, and especially chasing water from the hose.He does well with dogs in public and is good with cats and kids, but he’s overwhelmed in a multi-dog home and would do best as the only pet or with just one other dog. His biggest challenge is barking—he barks outside sometimes and at everyday noises inside. He’ll need a patient owner who’s either willing to continue working on this or is okay with some barking. He’s very loving and wants to bond with his person.Alfie may develop hip issues in the future and could eventually need extra support like a wheelchair, so he’ll need a committed adopter. He’ll be up to date on shots in May, and he has a teeth cleaning scheduled at the end of April.
