Story
Moose is a 9 month old, happy, and very energetic corgi mix. I love him dearly as does everyone who encounters him, but unfortunately I am currently unable to provide him with the stimulation he needs with my busy schedule. He is HIGH energy & MUST be with someone who can exercise and socialize him often. Corgis are also highly intelligent & need mental stimulation just as much as physical activity. Since he's still young, without proper stimulation, he WILL get restless. Fully potty trained and crate trained, but will be happiest with a yard or lots of walks. Not neutered because he's not old enough. He absolutely loves the dog park and fetch. Listing him as not good with small kids because since he's still young he tends to get very excited and jump up, which can be startling. He is very receptive to training though. He can also be a bit nippy when he plays but not in an aggressive way—he just has bad aim when going for his toys. Up to date on all vax. Fee includes supplies. :)

Story
Look at this handsome corgi! He`s sure to be a great addition to a family this holiday season. Ty has lived with other animals before, but isn`t a fan of sharing his food and appreciates his space. He is recommended to a home with no other animals, but might be successful with other animals if his new family is committed to management around meal times. Ty didn`t appreciate the young child in his previous home, so HSBV will only rehome him to a family without children or with children over the age of 10.

These pups are in Denver, Colorado too!

Story
Does this guy look familiar? This is Cody’s brother, Taz. In an interesting turn of events, the new owner of the pair didn’t have the time to take care of Taz so determined it was in his best interest to give him to Rescue. Taz is a super sweet and loving 1.5 y/o cowboy Corgi. He weighs approximately 26# and would like another friendly dog in his new home who doesn’t mind him being bossy at times or could be an only dog. Humans who aren’t gone long hours will be best as he is used to having someone around and wants to bond with his new person. Taz is potty trained but might lift his leg some in a new place. He’s recently neutered so that should diminish over time. Taz is a little too curious about cats and had not been tested with kids and is herdy so cats aren’t recommended and kids 12+. Taz is new to the leash but very treat motivated to learn. He sleeps in a dog bed at night. He can be hand shy in new situations and likes riding along on the atv with his foster dad. Taz loves to be outside running so the more space the better and requires a secure fenced in yard or farm and is not a good fit for an apartment situation. His humans should be ok with the bark of a Heeler, although he mostly uses it when he’s excited and not unnecessarily. If you are interested in meeting Taz the first step is to complete our meet and greet application at https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms We require the application, home and reference check, and meet with everyone in the home.  He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, chipped, and HW Negative. His adoption fee is $400 and we do not adopt outside of Colorado.November 17, 2025, 10:39 am

Story
Cody is ready to find his forever home! Cody was found out on the plains of CO limping on 3 legs. A kind person contacted us to get him the medical care he needed. After an FHO and physical therapy, Cody is using his leg again, although there are still times when he reverts back since he likely used 3 legs for most of his life prior to surgery. Cody is a super sweet and loving 1.5 y/o cowboy Corgi. He weighs approximately 25# and will need another friendly dog in his new home and humans who aren’t gone long hours. Cody is potty trained and crate trained although he can have some excited urination when his person comes home. He is still in his puppy stage and learning about chewing on appropriate things so does require a certain amount of supervision and dog-safe chews like no hides and bully sticks. Cody has not been tested with cats or kids and although very sweet and even tempered, he can be herdy so cats aren’t recommended and kids 12+. Cody is good on the leash, treat motivated, and sleeps in a dog bed at night. He is shy in new situations and doesn’t love the car but is getting used to shorter trips to fun places. Cody requires a secure fenced in yard with room to run around, a moderately active family, and is not a good fit for an apartment situation. His humans should be ok with the bark of a Heeler, although he mostly uses it when he’s excited and not unnecessarily. Cody would benefit from a basic manners class to bond, learn, and gain confidence. If you’re interested in meeting Cody, the first step is to complete our meet and greet application at  https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms  We require the application, home and reference check, and meet with everyone in the home. Cody is neutered, utd on vaccs, chipped, and HW-. His adoption fee is $400 and we do not adopt outside of Colorado. November 18, 2025, 10:29 pm

Good with kids, Good with dogs, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Mistletoe and her siblings came from a New Mexico shelter who thought their mom might be a corgi mix.  While we are unsure of their parentage as they all have long legs, we couldn’t leave them behind. Our best guess is that there is some chihuahua and terrier in the mix.  She is about 10 weeks old and 6lbs, so we believe she will be small to medium when full grown. Mistletoe may be the smallest of the litter, but she is also one of the most active. She has puppy eyes down to a science and will use them any time she is up to something mischievous. She holds her own wrestling with her siblings, and likes to play with the adult dogs in her foster home too. She loves plush toys, especially if they have a squeaker. Mistletoe is working on her potty training, and does well sleeping in a pen at night. If you’re interested in meeting Mistletoe the first step is to complete our meet and greet application at https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms We require the application, home and reference check, and meet with everyone in the home.  She will be spayed, microchipped, and up to date on age appropriate vaccines.  Her adoption fee is $400, and we are not adopting outside of Colorado.December 10, 2025, 12:47 pm
