Story
Meet Bert! Certified Meatloaf. Velcro enthusiast. Lap dog in theory (and in practice, if you’re sitting for more than 3 seconds). Bert takes about 30 minutes to warm up—and then he’ll love you with the force of a thousand suns and the weight of a small, determined potato. He’s equal parts docile and cuddly, with a strong preference for snacks, naps, and being exactly where you are, all the time. This charming spud LOVES women, thrives on walks, and happily follows wherever you lead. He’s potty trained, does great on a leash, and is learning crate training like the smart cookie he is (though he’d definitely rather be snuggled up next to you). Bert would do just fine as your one and only (he loves the spotlight), but he also gets along well with other calm, respectful dogs who understand the importance of personal space and chill vibes. If you’re looking for a loyal sidekick with a gentle heart, and major loaf energy, Bert’s your guy. To meet Bert, apply today: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FBF/Dog

Story
This sweet girl, who sports short legs and a long body like a Corgi, has a heart full of love and a gentle spirit. She adores kids and other dogs and is getting socialized with cats. Rayleen has a mellow vibe that can soothe on even the toughest of days. Although a little shy at first, she warms up quickly and is ready for a cuddle. Rayleen is getting potty trained and learning to sit on command (for a treat, of course!). This is one delightful low-rider you’ll want to check out.

Story
TEXAS ADOPTION ONLY Hi my name is Cookee, and I'm the sweetest treat of a pup that you'll ever meet. People say I remind them of cookies and cream when I give them sweet kisses on the nose or bump up and snuggle with them when they're feeling down. I am a Corgi Dachshund mix (we think) and medium sized about 30# full grown. Sitting on people's couches or laps is my favorite pastime as I get to snuggle close to the people I love, which is practically everyone! I LOVE OTHER DOGS TOO!! I definitely want a home with other dogs :) As I am a bit on the older side and lived on the streets until I was saved with my babies in my tummy. I have been living at my foster home and am ready for my forever HOME!! I will need a patient and loving family to give me a good life of exercise- LOL, playtime, treats, love, affection, and belonging. Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX)

Story
Hello. This is Nala. I found her near the Alamodome and saw that she had a collar with a phone number. I took her in hopes of getting ahold of her owners but they did not answer. I took her to the vet and they saw that she was Microchipped. The vet provided me with her name, which is when I found out her name is Nala and she is only 9 Months old. The vet also tried to contact the owners, but again no response from them. Eventually, I went out of my way to text the owners to see if they wanted her. They finally responded and after a short call, they informed me that they did not want Nala and that when they had her she was left outside on her own. I have decided to foster Nala, unfortunately I cannot keep her as I do not have time in my schedule to train a new puppy, as I work 14 hour shifts. Nala is a great puppy who needs someone who can provide the training and attention she needs. She loves cuddles and she loves to play. She is a fierce pup who needs a great home!

Story
Penny is just as sweet as can be! She is a fully house trained little lady who is looking for a family to live out her life with. She loves children and gets along well with the other dogs and doesn't even mind the pesky cats! She would love to have a family that will keep her and love her until her end of days. Penny's ideal family would be with someone who will take her for walks but will also let her snuggle on the couch with them. Belly rubs are her absolute favorite things. She loves to go for car rides and of course don't forget the snacks! Penny is such a special little girl! She would make a great addition to any family!
