Meet Violet, a beautiful Persian girl, and her brother Augustus (“Gus Gus”), a handsome Persian mix. This bonded pair is 2 years old and searching for their forever family together.Violet is a sweet, goofy girl with a heart of gold. She loves following her people from room to room like a little shadow, happily supervising whatever you’re doing. When she’s not keeping you company, you’ll find her enjoying a good brushing session or batting around her favorite toys.Augustus (Gus Gus) is the king of relaxation and charm. His favorite pastime is stretching out on his back in a sunny spot for a nap. He’s an affectionate boy who loves cuddling with his people, chatting about his day, and chasing his beloved wand toys. If you’re looking for cats with personality, they have plenty to spare! These two have been together since the day they were born and share a special bond, so they are looking for a home where they can stay together forever.Violet and Gus Gus are incredibly sweet cats who simply need a family willing to let them settle in at their own pace. As with any new pet, proper introductions are important to help them feel safe and confident in their new environment. They do well with teens through seniors, enjoy the company of other cats, and are unbothered by small dogs. With proper introductions, they would also do well with larger dogs.If you’re patient, loving, and ready to welcome a pair of beautiful companions into your life, Violet and Gus Gus will reward you with years of affection, entertainment, and endless purrs. Two best friends. One forever home. Could it be yours? Both are fully vaccinated , microchipped, dewormed, and treated for parasites and worm. They are on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention as well. They have both combo tested negative and spayed and neutered.   This is a courtesy post - please contact Renee to be put in touch with the kitties' caretaker Click here to watch a video of Violet and Gus, bonded.July 15, 2026, 1:05 pm

Story
The trouble with this beautiful boy is that when you're trying to photograph him instead of posing, he walks right to you saying "Here I am pet me". This is both adorable and frustrating. I have lots of close up pictures of his solid black (!) nose and golden eyes. He's a very friendly, loving boy. I don't think his earlier life was easy for him. We got him from a shelter up near Sacramento and I think he'd been outside a lot though I don't know his backstory. The fur on his back is a little "sun bleached" which means UV sunlight has changed the pigment in the cat's hair creating a lighter color. This phenomenon is also known as "rusting" and this term better describes the sprinkling of a slightly reddish color in the surface guard hairs on his silver back. You may not be able to this in his photo's. This is temporary condition- his coat will go back to solid silver in about a year. I haven't had him long but he has settled in quickly with us. He's happy to be inside I think. He's just a youngster- maybe two years old. Persians as a breed especially need to feel love from humans and to have humans to give love to. That's what Persians live for. I think as he enjoys the safety of his new life and the loving humans around him he will become more exuberant. He already likes to play with a feather. He is interested in what's going on out the window .He loves catnip. He comes up and says please love me -all the time. I don't think his last family had been taking care of him as a good little Persian boy deserves. The shelter gave him the lofty name of Prince Frederic. Maybe he could grow into that but I changed it to Blue Bear. "Blue" means "Silver Grey" in the cat world., The shelter neutered him, vaccinated him, wormed him and microchipped him. He was combo tested neg neg( FIV & FeLV) which is important for an outside cat. Probably because it is their busy kitten season they asked our Rescue to take him in. I love Persians and of course said "Yes absolutely!!" He has no bad habits. He uses his box. He'll eat anything. He is extremely agreeable except he doesn't like to be held for photo's. He wiggles. He's what I call a Grateful Cat because I think he's had a hard life and is a little needy. Do you have time to fill him up with cuddles and whispered affection? His coat, and especially his tail, needs time to grow full and lush. We're giving him DHA because his fur seems a little dry and I think we'll probably give him a bath with conditioners before he goes home. He's a loving boy and some great family will have a wonderful companion. I think he's comfortable around other kitties though we haven't had a lot of experience of that because we haven't had him long. There have been no warning signs. I don't know how he is with dogs. We need to be careful there since he may have had bad experiences with them outside. He is not a good choice for a family with young children because it would be great if he could be the child right now and not be competing for love. I think Blue Bear is still just a little too quiet for a young kitty. I see a bit of sadness in his eyes. In his new home, his new life will begin and he will blossom into the confident, playful, gorgeous kitty he was born to be. Some family will be so lucky. Blue Bear is fostered by Harriet in Santa Cruz, California. Blue Bear is: Neutered/Spayed, Vaccinated, FELV Tested, Dewormed, Microchipped, Wet Food, Dry Food, Litter Box Perfect Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats (like me) with qualified adopters who will cherish me and create an ideal forever home. If you believe you're my perfect adopter please explain why in the comments section of my Adoption Application, and contact Harriet at harrietluvskitties@yahoo.com. If you are unable to reach Harriet please email info@purebredsplus.org. NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone's best interests!

Story
Cornelius is a miracle cat. His whole litter(3 siblings) died at 1 month old and he was very ill too, but he had a fierce fighting spirit and I was able to nurse him back to health and though his illness stunted his growth, he grew up to be surprisingly big and you wouldn't know he was stunted. He's liken to a honey badger. He can be sweet, but he's also has quite the attitude. He prefers other male cats, but he won't fight female cats(he prefers to ignore them). He will engage in play fighting with other boys. Indoor only! He responds to his name well, especially if you roll the R. He can be talkative and has a prissy voice, but that's just for show, he's really far feisty than he sounds. He was born May 16th, 2024, so he just turned 2. I feel awful having to give him away since I fought so hard to keep him alive, he's quite bonded to me, but I had to take a position in LA and I can't take him. He's most likely going to be afraid at first, but he'll come around.
