When she’s not keeping you company, you’ll find her enjoying a good brushing session or batting around her favorite toys.Augustus (Gus Gus) is the king of relaxation and charm. As with any new pet, proper introductions are important to help them feel safe and confident in their new environment. They do well with teens through seniors, enjoy the company of other cats, and are unbothered by small dogs. With proper introductions, they would also do well with larger dogs.If you’re patient, loving, and ready to welcome a pair of beautiful companions into your life, Violet and Gus Gus will reward you with years of affection, entertainment, and endless purrs. Two best friends. One forever home. Could it be yours? Both are fully vaccinated , microchipped, dewormed, and treated for parasites and worm. They are on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention as well. Story
Duck and Mother Goose MUST be adopted together. There are NO exceptions Adoption Fee: $1,100.00 for the pair. We have recently posted a number of Ragdolls and Devon Rex from a breeder who decided to close the cattery she had recently opened. She evidently was thinking to branch out into breeding Persians because she also surrendered Mother Goose and Duck, a mother and daughter pair. The last photo I have included below is one taken of Duck, aka the Darling Duckling, on the day we got her. She was so small and so unbelievably cute (!!!!!) with her white feet and white blaze between her eyes. She is no longer tiny but she is still amazingly cute with her great round green eyes. She is all about play and exploration, a carefree young teenager. Her mom is quite different, she has seen more of life and has had the worry of kittens or at least one. Goose is very gentle, cautious, super sweet when she knows you. I think her life has not been all ease and comfort. She arrived stressed and unsure clearly feeling things had not been as safe and loving as she needed. There was a little sadness in her eyes. Did she lose her other kittens? There is no way to know. Persians are all and only about love. They are treasures that must be kept safe and loved every single day. This is true of all cats of course, but it is especially true of tender hearted Persians. These two would like to go to their new home together and spend their years together. They need a family who spends a lot of time at home. Noisy young children and bouncy barking dogs would not be a good for them but other gentle, non dominant, cats might be fine. Duck has kitten play monster energy right now but she will outgrow some of that soon. Goose has a very soft, quiet temperament. She will blossom and be so happy in the love of her humans . Some family will be so lucky to have this special pair to love. They will be loved back by Persians who give their whole hearts to take care of their humans. They do have one request of their new family. " Please give us new grown up names!" I agree. The day for being called Duck and Mother Goose is pretty much over ( And no, I didn't name them) Duck is fostered by Harriet in Santa Cruz, California. Duck is: Neutered/Spayed, Vaccinated, FELV Tested, Dewormed, Microchipped, Wet Food, Dry Food, Litter Box Perfect Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats with qualified adopters who will cherish them and create an ideal forever home. If you believe you are a perfect adopter for Duck please tell us why in the comments section of our Adoption Application, and contact Harriet at harrietluvskitties@yahoo.com. If you are unable to reach Harriet please email info@purebredsplus.org. NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone's best interests!

Story
The trouble with this beautiful boy is that when you're trying to photograph him instead of posing, he walks right to you saying "Here I am pet me". This is both adorable and frustrating. I have lots of close up pictures of his solid black (!) nose and golden eyes. He's a very friendly, loving boy. I don't think his earlier life was easy for him. We got him from a shelter up near Sacramento and I think he'd been outside a lot though I don't know his backstory. The fur on his back is a little "sun bleached" which means UV sunlight has changed the pigment in the cat's hair creating a lighter color. This phenomenon is also known as "rusting" and this term better describes the sprinkling of a slightly reddish color in the surface guard hairs on his silver back. You may not be able to this in his photo's. This is temporary condition- his coat will go back to solid silver in about a year. I haven't had him long but he has settled in quickly with us. He's happy to be inside I think. He's just a youngster- maybe two years old. Persians as a breed especially need to feel love from humans and to have humans to give love to. That's what Persians live for. I think as he enjoys the safety of his new life and the loving humans around him he will become more exuberant. He already likes to play with a feather. He is interested in what's going on out the window .He loves catnip. He comes up and says please love me -all the time. I don't think his last family had been taking care of him as a good little Persian boy deserves. The shelter gave him the lofty name of Prince Frederic. Maybe he could grow into that but I changed it to Blue Bear. "Blue" means "Silver Grey" in the cat world., The shelter neutered him, vaccinated him, wormed him and microchipped him. He was combo tested neg neg( FIV & FeLV) which is important for an outside cat. Probably because it is their busy kitten season they asked our Rescue to take him in. I love Persians and of course said "Yes absolutely!!" He has no bad habits. He uses his box. He'll eat anything. He is extremely agreeable except he doesn't like to be held for photo's. He wiggles. He's what I call a Grateful Cat because I think he's had a hard life and is a little needy. Do you have time to fill him up with cuddles and whispered affection? His coat, and especially his tail, needs time to grow full and lush. We're giving him DHA because his fur seems a little dry and I think we'll probably give him a bath with conditioners before he goes home. He's a loving boy and some great family will have a wonderful companion. I think he's comfortable around other kitties though we haven't had a lot of experience of that because we haven't had him long. There have been no warning signs. I don't know how he is with dogs. We need to be careful there since he may have had bad experiences with them outside. He is not a good choice for a family with young children because it would be great if he could be the child right now and not be competing for love. I think Blue Bear is still just a little too quiet for a young kitty. I see a bit of sadness in his eyes. In his new home, his new life will begin and he will blossom into the confident, playful, gorgeous kitty he was born to be. Some family will be so lucky. Blue Bear is fostered by Harriet in Santa Cruz, California. Blue Bear is: Neutered/Spayed, Vaccinated, FELV Tested, Dewormed, Microchipped, Wet Food, Dry Food, Litter Box Perfect Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats (like me) with qualified adopters who will cherish me and create an ideal forever home.
