Story
Meet Mama Kelly Mama Kelly’s story is one that stays with you. She came to us from Folsom Prison, where she wasn’t just another cat—she was an inmate favorite, a source of comfort, calm, and unconditional love in a very hard place. The people there loved her deeply. While there, Mama Kelly became pregnant and later gave birth to three precious babies, caring for them with the quiet devotion only a true mama can give. Now that her babies are grown, it’s finally her turn. Mama Kelly may be a Persian mix, with a soft, gentle presence and the sweetest circle marking on her face—like a little reminder of how special she is. She is spayed, vaccinated, and currently with our friends at Friends of Felines, waiting patiently for a home of her own. She has been around kids, other cats, and dogs, and she takes everything in stride with grace and kindness. Mama Kelly is truly just… love. The inmates loved her so much that they wished she could come back. Letting her go was not easy—but they understood something important: Mama Kelly deserves more. She deserves a warm couch, gentle hands, and a family who will love her forever. Mama Kelly has given comfort, raised babies, and touched so many hearts. Now she’s ready to give her heart to you. 🐾💖

Story
Adoption Fees $200 for kittens up to one year $160 for cats over one year All cats have been: -  Spayed/neutered -  FVRCP vaccinated -  FeLV tested (FeLV/FIV for adults) -  Dewormed -  Flea treated -  Microchipped Meet Oscar – The Rugged Gentleman with a Soft Side   Oscar’s story started rough: kept outdoors by his former caretaker, then picked up and dumped by an apartment manager far from home. Luckily, we found him—intact and in need of a second chance. With feral colonies nearby, we knew he couldn’t be left out again, so we brought him in.   Since recovering, Oscar has settled into life as an indoor cat (with possible supervised outdoor privileges). He seems content and independent, but don’t let his cool demeanor fool you—he’s quietly loyal and will curl up next to you at night.   Oscar would likely do best as a solo pet or in a home with calm, confident dogs. He’s not a fan of other cats—especially the nervous ones—as he’s still learning how to “cat.” He loves to chase toys (and sometimes other cats, which doesn’t go over well here), so a home where he can burn off that playful energy would be ideal.   His perfect match? Someone who works from home or enjoys quiet companionship. He’s not needy, but he likes to be near his person. Offer him a Churu, some good kibble, or soft food and you’ll earn major points.   Oscar is neutered, healthy, and ready for the next chapter—with someone who sees the value in a resilient cat who just wants to belong.    Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Adoptions Events on Saturdays:   Petco in Vacaville, 210 Nut Tree Pkwy from 11am-2pm Petco in Fairfield, 1320 Gateway Blvd, from 2- 5pm Because all of our cats are in foster homes, not all cats come to adoptions every weekend.
