Story
I’m looking for a loving, stable home for my beautiful 4-year-old Persian cat (white one). She is a gentle, shy cat at first, but once she feels safe, she bonds deeply with her person and becomes very affectionate. She does best in calm, predictable environments where she can build trust at her own pace.Unfortunately, she is not getting along with the other cats in the home, so she will need to be the only pet in her new home. She would thrive in a quiet household without other animals, ideally with someone patient who understands shy cats and is willing to let her settle in gradually. Needs to be comfortable and litter trained in new home. She can be a calm companion who enjoys comfort, routine, and gentle attention once she feels secure.I’m looking for the right long-term fit where she will be safe, understood, and truly cared for.Happy to answer questions and share more details.

Story
Im hoping to find a home for our sweet Elaine. She’s about 4 years old, up to date on all her shots, spayed and in good health. The reason we are looking for a new home is because all she wants is to be an indoor/outdoor cat. We’ve tried everything to make her feel comfortable inside but she cries and cries to go out. I’ve considered a dog door for her but we have another cat that doesn’t do well outside. We lived in Hawaii, where she was an outdoor cat for about a year and a half. She would catch lizards and birds, so I just don’t think being an indoor cat is a good fit for her anymore. I’d love for her to be able to go in and outside as she pleases. Our new home in San Diego is not suitable for her needs She’s amazing with people, other pets (we have a dog and cat), and kids. She loves to cuddle, and is beyond perfect ( aside from her persistence/vocals to go outside). I’m happy to answer any questions. She is a member of our family and I want to make sure it’s a good fit.

Story
*** Franklin is in a foster home. ***Gray/white bicolor, long-medium hair, neutered male, born approx. 6/1/18, #19334Cats: fine, also good soloDogs: ok w/ cat-savvy onesChildren: quiet older kids 8 years+BACKGROUND: Franklin was found in sorry shape, thin and malnourished, struggling to find food in trash bins and just trying to survive. His skin was a mess and his eyes were so sad. He needed time and TLC in foster care to both physically and mentally recover and regroup. Now Franklin enjoys warm places and good company, never skips a meal, and is ready to find a warm loving home!PERSONALITY: Franklin is such a lovely boy, and as his skin improved so did his fluffy fur! He enjoys being gently groomed with a brush and keeping his fur in tip-top shape can be a happy experience for both him and you. Pets around his head and neck area are Franklin’s favorite thing: give him a few scratches under his chin and he’ll melt like butter. He enjoys pets pretty much anywhere except on his belly (respect the belly, please). He’d prefer if you don’t pick him up much, as he can feel uncertain about things when his paws aren’t under his control, but once Franklin gets to know you he is very willing to come to you for attention and bonding time… he cherishes the connection you share and it will become an essential part of his daily life. He is good with new people if they’re not too loud or abrasive; he likes a gentle slow introduction and an overall quiet home. Given that courtesy, this handsome boy shines!COMPATIBILITY: Franklin is comfortable with other mellow cats and also does well solo. With adjustment time, he is all right with cat-savvy dogs. Calm and respectful children over 8 who aren’t too loud or boisterous would be best.Franklin is such a good boy, and he is looking for a quiet and loving home where he can live his days in peace and comfort. Will you make this wonderful kitty’s dream come true? While healthy, Franklin tested positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV). This is a type of virus that typically causes some weakening of a cat’s immune system. It is a cat-only virus and cannot be spread through casual friendly contact between cats. FIV+ cats can and do live quite normal lives in quality, duration, and happiness. A good informative website is FIVCats.com.
