Please meet Anastasia. She is an extremely affectionate and loving cat that just turned three years old in May. We adopted her when she was eight weeks old from the SD Humane Society and she was a standout star with how beautiful her fur coat looked. We adopted her with her foster sister and for two years they both were able to get along really well. A year ago, we brought in a new boy kitten and in the early stages of his life they were friendly with one another, but over time have become adversaries. While we would love to keep her, it’s best to rehome her where doesn’t live in fear. She starts off shy, but once she warms up, she is extremely affectionate and becomes attached. She’ll sit in your lap and always be near and cuddle up with you. However she does easily get startled by loud noises or from quick movements like children. She would be best in a home where it’s relatively quiet and maybe even the only pet. She is extremely healthy and had all her shots before adoption.
