Story
*** Kylo is in our PetSmart Aero adoption center ***Kylo #19623: gray/silver tabby, long hair, neutered male, born approx. 4/3/21Cats: enjoys friendsDogs: hard passChildren: older kids BACKGROUND: Kylo was found with a severe wound along his spine that the vet initially thought might have been a burn due to the lack of fur and raw state of the wound and his skin. However, it was discovered that Kylo was self-harming in an extreme reaction to strong food sensitivities. With experimentation, a prescription food was found that Kylo didn’t react to—he stopped the behavior, his fur grew back, and now you can’t even tell he was hurt. He’s ready to find himself an adopter who is willing to keep him on his proven diet and love him dearly!PERSONALITY: Kylo loves to be spoiled and petted! This talkative and playful boy will relish in your affection and then let you know when he is done with close contact and ready to move on to the next thing… which is likely a game of some sort, so get out a wand toy? Kylo can be a bit of a rascal when he indulges his innate curiosity: he has learned how to open drawers and cabinets and fish interesting things out of them (so especially keep your food secure). Mealtimes are very important, and Kylo will let you know when you are late for breakfast or dinner. He is a sweet cat who takes his cues on meeting new people from the ones he already knows, and usually does well when strangers enter his space. This cool cat likes to keep his cool kitty attitude, so you can carry him or brush him for brief periods of time but let’s not overdo the wrap-around cuddles. Kylo is always personable, adapts quickly to new environments, and is a great buddy!COMPATIBILITY: Kylo appreciates a proper introduction to other cats and then does very well with them; we think he would be happiest having a kitty friend. He has made it clear he wants nothing to do with dogs. He is comfortable with respectful older children.Kylo is such a sweetheart! He’s feeling good and is ready to charm your socks off.

Story
Charlotte is a very social Maine Coon mix. We have to move to help my mom and unfortunately her dog is very aggressive toward cats. We are heartbroken to have to resort to rehoming, but Charlotte is very afraid of the dog and we dont want her life to be filled with fear and stress. She loves people and is happiest snuggling up in someone's lap. She is playful but spends most of her day napping. We let her outside most of her life so we're looking for someone who is open to do the same if safe for Charlotte. She doest stray far at all; she mostly hangs out in our backyard and will occasionally go greet the neighbors when she spots them. She is like most cats where she is 99% sweet and cuddly but will nip to let you know she's done being pet. She has been around babies and children her whole life so is used to families. She is also used to dogs and adapts to them quickly (if the dogs are friendly toward cats). We had a family dog that she lived with in peaceful indifference for 10yrs.

Our adoption fees vary. Each biography will specifically list the adoption fee.Aqua is a 2 year old tripod beauty. She is not missing her whole leg just one back paw, and it hasn't slowed her down one bit, she goes about her life like any other cat would. She has soft blue eyes and a sweet temperament with a touch of sassiness. She and her sister Serene were recently relinquished to our rescue group when their human passed away unexpectedly. The family reached out to see if we had room for these sweet girls and we said yes. We would love to adopt them out together, if at all possible, but will consider separating them if the right match is found for them individually. Aqua's foster home says she loves their little resident dog, so we think she could join a home with another cat (hopefully her current sister) or cat savvy dog. She will require regular brushing to keep her longhair coat looking good. She would love a tall cat tree to climb and lounge on and would enjoy lots of toys to keep her entertained. She is a fabulous girl inside and out and would love to start her new life with that special person or family. Could that be you? She has been spayed, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, vaccinated, dewormed, flea treated and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $150.June 15, 2025, 8:41 pm
