Rue is a lovely Persian mix senior who will tolerate other cats or a small dog; she would be fine as an only cat also. She is on twice daily meds for Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy, which the foster can provide a supply for you. She is also on a renal diet. She would love to sleep on the bed with you and perch on a cat tree nearby. Her foster mom hasn't had her very long so they are still getting to know each other. She is a playful cat who loves her feather toy. She also loves being brushed. Her owner couldn't take care of her anymore; so took her to the shelter, where she stay for over 4 months. The shelter staff loved her because she is so sweet and friendly. She has a recent dental cleaning and saw a cardiologist. Please consider giving this special girl a nice home to live out her golden years. Please contact the foster at Savetinylives@gmail.com

Frida came into our lives on my husband’s birthday in the most unexpected way. We woke up to a note on our front door that said, “There’s a kitten in the hood of your car.” She was actually stuck behind the fender, and we had to ask the guys at a nearby tire shop to help us safely get her out. We originally planned to foster her and find her a loving home, but it didn’t take long for us to fall completely in love with her. We decided she was meant to stay with us and became part of our family. Sadly, our circumstances have changed. My husband has been diagnosed with brain cancer, and our son has asthma, making it increasingly difficult for us to give Frida the time, care, and attention she deserves. This is an incredibly painful decision, but our priorities have shifted, and we know Frida deserves a loving family who can provide her with the care and attention she needs. We love her deeply and hope to find her a wonderful forever home.

Franklin is shy, but open to getting comfortable with new people. He is sweet, loves getting scratches and does well with other cats. His age is an estimate, but our vets think he's likely on the senior side. We'd love to find Franklin a home where he can spend his golden years!  Please note; Franklin tested positive for FIV. That being said, he can live a normal life, but it is necessary that he is the only cat in the home or with other cats who are also positive. There is no exception to this condition for his adoption.  ##2736902##

Max’s Story Max began coming to our house May this year. He was sneezing, his hair was badly matted and he was bleeding. Plus he didn’t act feral, came right up to us, started purring. We already have a cat, Sammie and dog, Mickey. And Sammie is still adjusting to a recent amputation. So even though we are struggling financially, we had to help. We took Max to our vet, got him the medical help he needed, only to find out he is FIV positive, which can be a problem with Sammie. He also had an upper respiratory infection which is very contagious. So, It was important to keep Max and Sammy apart. We brought Max home and he got better and healthier but we continue to keep the 2 cats separated until we can be certain they will accept each other. We loved Max since he came to live with us. But we are getting older and it’s hard to care for 2 special needs pets. We want Max to have a chance to thrive with people who will love him as much as we do and hope we will do what is best for him
