Gypsy has specific needs, as many Persians do,  and will thrive best in a home that matches her calm and gentle nature, so applications will be considered based on how well those needs are met. Meet Gypsy Gypsy is a very sweet, gentle girl who is beginning to come out of her shell and show her peaceful, affectionate spirit. She thrives in calm, predictable environments and feels most at ease in a quiet household where she can relax and enjoy life at her own pace. Gypsy is considered low-key and laid back. She isn’t highly playful, but she truly enjoys lounging on cozy beds, resting in sunny spots, and simply sharing space with her people. While she isn’t a lap cat, she appreciates gentle companionship and often finds comfort being nearby, quietly keeping you company. She does best in a peaceful home and would be happiest either as the only cat or with one calm, respectful feline companion—ideally an older cat who understands personal space. Gypsy may coexist well with select cats, but homes with dogs or high activity would not be the right fit for her. Gypsy can be shy when meeting new people or adjusting to new situations, but with patience and consistency, she builds trust and becomes a wonderfully rewarding companion. As she settles in, her sweet nature continues to shine through more each day. Her striking heterochromia—two beautifully different colored eyes—adds to her unique and delicate charm. Gypsy is looking for an emotionally attuned adopter who values quiet companionship and understands that meaningful bonds sometimes grow slowly. I hope you are doing well. I am reaching out to ask for assistance regarding an adult male cat currently in my care. I recently took him in from a previous individual who claimed to be his owner. Unfortunately, I was not provided with any veterinary or vaccination records, and despite multiple requests, the previous person has been unable to provide proof of ownership, medical documentation, or information about the veterinarian who allegedly treated him. Their explanations about the cat’s history have also been inconsistent, which has raised concerns for me. The cat is generally sweet and has begun to warm up to me, but he is very stressed, and due to the lack of medical history and uncertainty surrounding his background, I am unable to responsibly keep him. I also have other cats in the household, including a pregnant cat, and I need to prioritize safety and proper care for all animals involved. Eddie is a sweet and silly 4-year-old boy who is neutered, up to date on all vaccinations, and truly the funniest little guy (a true orange cat!) He can be shy and skittish at first, especially around new people or loud noises, but that's just because he had a tough start after being rescued from the street. With patience and a calm environment, he blossoms into an affectionate purr machine who loves nothing more than being close to his person. His favorite things include yogurt treats (or honestly any food!), butt and chin scratches, and cozy enclosed beds where he feels safe. He does wonderfully with other cats but would need a dog-free home.

Story
Cyrus was rescued as a kitten off the street in 2014. About a year later, we added Ramesses, a purebred bengal to the family. An interesting fact about Cyrus is that many people, myself included, have come to love him more than Ramesses because of his quiet, calm demeanor, affection, and beauty. I’m trying to keep them together as they seem to really complement each other and have been together for almost their entire lives. I would probably keep Cyrus if I could because he’s so much quieter and lower maintenance, but he helps keep his more high-strung bengal brother in check and they are definitely a dynamic duo. He has almost a fatherly presence with Ramesses at times. They need to be adopted together.
