Meet June Bug — a resilient, loving, and gentle soul who has overcome more than most cats ever will.This beautiful 9-year-old girl came to us after surviving a traumatic dog attack that left her with severe injuries and required a full tail amputation. Thanks to dedicated care and her incredible spirit, she has healed wonderfully — but her injury means she does have a few lifelong special needs.
Her Medical Journey & Care Needs
Because of nerve damage from the attack and tail loss, June Bug has occasional challenges with bowel and urinary control. She has had recurrent UTIs in the past, which have been managed with testing, treatment, and monitoring. During flare-ups she may struggle to make it to the litter box in time, so a patient home with understanding caregivers is important. Her bowel movements have improved significantly with a simple daily fiber supplement, and maintaining a consistent routine keeps her comfortable and thriving.
Her Personality
Despite everything she has been through, June Bug is pure sweetness. She adores being near her humans, loves gentle affection, and will gladly curl up for snuggles and purr-filled companionship. She’ll warm your lap, brighten your days, and has playful bursts of zoomies — especially after using the litter box, when she celebrates with joy and enthusiasm. She truly is a little spark of happiness.

Adoption Information
Prior to adoption, every cat in our care is spayed or neutered, microchipped, given age-appropriate vaccinations, treated for parasites, and combo-tested for FIV/FeLV. We make sure each cat is healthy, safe, and ready to thrive in their forever home.
Adoption Fees
Kittens (under 6 months): $150
Adults (over 6 months): $125
Seniors / Special Needs: $75
Please Note:
We cannot hold cats for any reason. Please only apply if you’re ready to meet and welcome your new companion within 3 days of applying.
Kittens under 4 months must go to a home with another friendly feline, or be adopted with a buddy. (If a kitten is excluded from this rule, it will be noted in their profile.)
