Story
Named after the lively Iowa city of Ames, this handsome boy is every bit as charming as his namesake. Estimated to have been born around April 29, 2026, Ames is a long-haired brown and white kitten with a soft, fluffy coat that makes him even more irresistible to cuddle. He shares the same wonderfully social and affectionate personality as his siblings, proving that in this litter, friendliness runs deep.
Ames and his siblings, all named after cities in Iowa, are the friendliest group of kittens you could ever hope to meet. They truly believe every person is a friend from the moment they arrive, and Ames is no exception. He starts purring as soon as he’s touched and absolutely loves being held, snuggled, and doted on. He is happiest when he’s with people and will happily melt into your arms for attention.
When he’s not soaking up affection, Ames is a playful and happy kitten. He enjoys wrestling with his siblings and foster kitty friends, chasing toys across the room, batting small balls around, and climbing up to the highest point of the cat tree to keep watch. His fluffy coat makes all his playful antics even more entertaining to watch. Like his siblings, he’s highly food motivated and comes running the moment he hears a can of wet food or the shake of a Churu treat.
Because he is such a social and playful boy, Ames must be adopted into a home with another kitten or a young, playful cat who can keep up with him. With his gentle heart, affectionate nature, and fluffy good looks, Ames would thrive in just about any home. If you’re looking for a kitten who brings both cozy cuddles and playful energy, Ames is ready to make your home his forever stop on the Iowa map.
