Baba hasn't had the easiest lot in life. After being declawed (imagine having your parents chop all your fingers off), he was then abandoned at Chicago Animal Control in pain and terrified. FFF snatched him up and he has slowly been learning to trust the world again. While shy at first, Baba will quickly become a permanent attachment to anyone in the room. He is the ultimate loafer, taking after the cake he is so apty named after: squat and round! And while he may not be the cuddliest of cats, he enjoys spending time with people and accepting all the pets and brushes. He will even headbutt and chirp for attention if his foster is distracted. He will need a home where his person is around more often than not. Baba tolerates other cats with a proper introduction but would prefer be the only kitty in the home. His gorgeous coat just shimmers in the sunlight and that small face and big eyes makes him look just like a snowy owl. As a Persian mix, Baba is truly a prime example of this calm, friendly breed. Baba needs a calm home, preferably gentle older kids and could do well with a respectful dog. Being declawed, he needs very fine litter so as not to hurt his remaining toes, multiple litter boxes, and lots of comfy beds and furniture for him to rest and snuggle on.  And much like an owl, Baba makes all kinds of cute chirps when he is exploring or looking for someone to hang with. He loves to play with toys, especially kickers, and climb on all the shelves and into all the beds he can reach! He is truly the sweetest of cats. What more is there to say about Baba? Kitty , a nine-year-old spayed and front-declawed cat, is up to date on her rabies vaccinations. She gets along well with other dogs and is affectionate with adults and children. She has lived with both small and medium-sized dogs in the past. Initially, she’s reserved with new people. However, she doesn’t get along with cats. I rescued her from a vet I worked for at the time I didn’t have children but now my almost 2 year old precious Ricky is having breading problems and I have to have her confined in a cage away from my son . I can’t take care of her anymore no one wants to adopt her because of her age.she loves people and would be a great company to family or a single person. Please help me to place her soon to a home even if they can foster her . Please help me
