Please contact Della @ (kittycityks@aol.com) for more information about this pet. Our adoption center is open both Saturday & Sunday every weekend! Saturday's noon-5pm & Sunday's noon-4pm. TUXIE (black & white) and ROXIE (tabby) are a beautiful long-haired brother and sister duo who are looking for their forever loving home. Both kitties are very loving and gentle and like to lay in their foster Mom’s lap and give kisses and be stroked. They also like to sit next to you and be brushed and get ear and butt scratches. They still play with each other and their toys but spend most of their day lounging and hanging out watching what all is going on around them in the house and outside through the windows. They love to get up on their cat tree and watch the birds and squirrels and blowing leaves. They also enjoy just being close and hanging out with their human. Once comfortable in their new home, they are likely going to want to take cat naps or sleep with you. These two are very affectionate human-loving kitties who will make great little companions. Tuxie and Roxie’s owner died, and the family put them outside to fend for themselves. Before they were rescued, Tuxie lost an eye due to a fight with another cat. He is fine now and can see out of his other eye, but it was a very traumatic experience for him. This brother and sister have been through a lot together and are ready to find a loving forever home together. Tuxie and Roxie will do best in a mature home or one with older, cat-savvy children (12+). They would prefer to be in a home where they are the only kitties but could go to a home with another older, cat-friendly kitty, with proper introductions. They are very unsure of dogs – probably because they had bad experiences outside so that will need to be discussed on a case-by-case basis with their foster Mom/adoption counselor.   Tuxie and Roxie were born approximately January 11, 2019. Their combined adoption fee is $197.50. They have been neutered/spayed, are up-to-date on vaccinations and deworming, are microchipped, and have tested negative for feline leukemia virus.   You can visit our adoptable cats and kittens during weekend business hours at our adoption center, address and times above. During the week, all our kitties live in licensed foster homes, and while most do come to the adoption center each weekend, not every kitty attends every weekend. Story
Please contact Della @ (kittycityks@aol.com) for more information about this pet. Our adoption center is open both Saturday & Sunday every weekend! Saturday's noon-5pm & Sunday's noon-4pm. Hadley and Rowen are sisters with a remarkable story of resilience. They are the only two survivors from their litter this past winter, and their bond reflects the strength they found in each other through a rough start to life. Though naturally shy at first, both girls are quickly blossoming in their foster home as they learn to trust and feel safe. Hadley is the more playful of the two, always ready for a game and happiest when she can curl up in a warm lap afterward—she’s a true cuddle bug at heart. Rowen, on the other hand, has a gentle, affectionate nature. She loves being pet and will often come up to ask for attention, soaking up every bit of love she can get. While she enjoys playtime, too, she’s a bit more relaxed compared to her energetic sister. Together, Hadley and Rowen make a perfect pair—balancing playfulness and calm affection. With a little patience and a lot of love, they are sure to grow into wonderful, devoted companions. These kitties should get along with other cats, kids, and cat-friendly dogs once provided with slow and proper introductions. Hadley and Rowen were born approximately November 1, 2025. Their combined adoption fee is $275. They are spayed, up-to-date on shots and deworming, have microchips, and tested negative for feline leukemia virus.  You can visit our adoptable cats and kittens during weekend business hours at our adoption center, address and times above. Story
We got Peaches when she was a young cat, so her actual age is unknown but the vet thinks she is around 8 years old. She is a loving, cuddly cat who is AMAZING with little kids. I have two children and she has never bitten or scratched! We are moving out of state and sadly can’t bring her along. She would do well in a home as the only pet. She previously has been with others cats and dogs and is okay around very calm dogs but does not like other cats. It breaks my heart to rehome her but I know she will be a great pet for a family or individual with no other animals. She is almost due for her shots so will need vaccines soon. Peaches has been strictly an indoor cat although she does love the breeze of open windows!
