Story
Snowy is a beautiful white Persian with darling blue eyes. He is a 4 year old who loves to snuggle with you. He has been however, keeping a low profile recently. He and my younger Himalayan have had many serious run-ins. I have tried many different avenues to keep them apart, but I am finally throwing in the towel. I will gladly give him to someone who would want him if they will keep him by himself or with female kitties. He is a Persian, so he needs brushing. And his eyes need to be wiped and his ears need to be maintained. Otherwise he is very easy to get along with. He will be a perfect pet for you.

He has been her protector and her friend. Louie LOVES laying on his back and showing his belly, he doesn't even mind belly rubs. He can be found lounging or hanging out with Lucy or his human. Louie also loves dinner time and treats! Give them a chance and you will have faithful companions!! Louie has tested positive for FIV. Because of their special bond we would hope he can go home with his special female companion Lucy. Louie does NOT do well with dogs. Louie does not actually do well with any other cats except Lucy!  Lucy is special! She doesn't mind being in the same room as humans, even sleeping at the foot of the bed or watching TV with humans, and recently started to enjoy being pet. She now gives mile high elevator butt when you pet down her back. She especially loves chin scratches and when she feels safe, will show her belly, but any pets have to be on her terms.  Louie makes up for it with all of his affection. This is a pair that will be bring joy to your home as they can be quite entertaining as they play together and lounge together. Lucy will chirp for Louie if he gets to far out of her sight.  Cats with FIV often have similar life spans to cats without it. Studies conducted in 2010 and 2022 found that an FIV diagnosis wasn't associated with decreased lifespans. In fact, cats can remain asymptomatic for years or even their entire lives! Although FIV isn't easily transmitted between cats (only through deep bites and not via sharing food and other normal interaction), the risk means that an FIV positive cat may do best going into a single-cat household or a household with other FIV positive cats.   Approximate Birthday: 02/15/2020 Adoption Fee: $ 75.00 TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccinations, microchip, FIV/FeLV test, and deworming. A two-week trial is included as part of the adoption. Because we do not know the background of many of our cats, we cannot guarantee exact age or breed. Adoption centers may not have a volunteer present to open the cat enclosures, and we have foster homes located throughout the KC metro area. Please fill out an application if you'd like to meet this cat. Interested in this pet? Please fill out a non-binding application. Our goal is to find life-long matches between animals and families, and the application provides us with a lot of information to help us help you find that match! Story
Miles is a beautiful one-year-old long-haired tuxedo boy with a curious nature and a silly, playful side. He loves being the center of attention and enjoys interactive play, especially with wand toys. He does well with older children and thrives on positive, engaging time with his people. Miles enjoys affection and gentle pets, especially head and neck scratches, and appreciates when his boundaries are respected. He's currently feeling overwhelmed in a multi-cat environment and is looking for a calm home where he can be the only cat. In the right setting, Miles will have a chance to relax, feel secure, and let his sweet personality shine. With patience, understanding, and a peaceful space to call his own, Miles will make a loving and rewarding companion.
