Alva is BONDED with her brother Albert. Alva and Albert started their life on the streets and are the remaining cattens from a litter of four. They are both extremely shy and apprehensive about the world, but are making great strides with their foster mom. When she has the opportunity to pet them and sit with them, they are extremely loving. They will take some patience and a quiet place to decompress, but it will be worth your time and effort to give this loving pair a chance! Please fill out an application today!

Story
🐾 Meet Jingle — The Shy Boy With a Big Heart Waiting to Bloom 🤎 Jingle is a long-haired black-and-brown beauty with a soft, fluffy coat and a tender soul. Rescued from a large outdoor colony, he’s still learning what it means to feel safe and loved—but his foster has already seen incredible progress. When he first arrived, Jingle was unsure and afraid of human touch. With steady patience and daily trust-building, he has begun to open up in the sweetest ways. He now allows gentle pets, settles into his foster’s lap for occasional snuggles, and has even begun tolerating being picked up for short periods. 💛 He’s still easily spooked and will need an adopter who truly understands slow-paced, relationship-based trust building. Jingle will not do well in a home expecting an instantly cuddly cat—but for someone patient, gentle, and consistent, this boy absolutely will come around. ✨ What Jingle’s Foster Says: • He no longer hides and chooses to be near people • He wants companionship, but needs time to initiate touch • He’s inquisitive, funny, and loves cat treats • He loooooves blanket forts • He taught himself how to open the toy drawer and pull out every toy he wants (usually all of them!) • Completely litterbox reliable • Currently scared of dogs; may improve with time, but would likely prefer a dog-free home Jingle also does well with other patient, gentle cats and may thrive with a confident feline friend who can show him the ropes. He’s the kind of cat whose love is earned, not given instantly—and that makes it all the more meaningful. If you believe the best relationships are built on trust, time, and really good snacks, Jingle just might be your perfect match. 🤎🐾 ----------------------------------------- If you’re interested in adopting, please apply online at mscrescue.org/adopt. An approved application is required before we can schedule a meet & greet. Once approved, we’ll work with you to ensure it’s a great fit—and if it’s not, no worries! We’ll help you find the perfect match. All of our cats are adoption-ready and come: • Spayed or neutered • FELV/FIV tested • Dewormed • Up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines • Microchipped

Story
Bubby was adopted as a kitten. He is a wonderful male cat, but our lifestyles don’t add up. He needs a spacious home, with someone who can give him lots of attention. I can’t give him that. He prefers a quiet home, and would probably thrive as a single cat.

Story
Meet Phoebe Phoebe is a gorgeous 2 year old long-haired calico with a friendly, easygoing personality. She gets along with everyone—people, cats, dogs—you name it. She’s sweet, social, and happy to be part of the action… Except for one thing: the vacuum. That noisy monster is her sworn enemy, and she will absolutely judge it from a safe distance. If you’re looking for a loving, fluffy companion who fits right into just about any home (as long as vacuum time is announced in advance), Phoebe is your girl. If you are interested in meeting Phoebe, please fill out an application via our website at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/TRP/Cat and we will get back to you via email once your application has been reviewed. If you have further questions please feel free to reach out to us at adoptionstrp@gmail.com. This will get you the fastest response. Phoebe's adoption fee is $75 and includes age-appropriate vaccines, spay, microchip, combo test, and deworm All cats adopted from The Rescue Project are to be indoor only cats.
