Meet Lenny! Lenny is a handsome neutered male Persian who is looking for a very special home that can understand and accommodate his unique needs. Lenny has plenty of personality and deserves a home where he can feel comfortable, understood, and loved for exactly who he is. Finding the right match for Lenny is very important to us, so his adoption will be handled a little differently to make sure both Lenny and his future adopter are set up for success. Candy, a 3-year-old, and Precious, a 5-year-old, are a bonded pair of cats who must go home together. Candy, the black cat, is a sweet, gentle guy who enjoys pets and rubbing on visitors' legs. Precious is a shy guy but comes out of his shell when Candy is by his side. Candy loves to groom Precious, which is very sweet to see. Fun Fact: Precious has the most enormous paws! A quiet home would be best for these boys. She was surrendered after she bit her owner while protecting her babies. During that time, she could become territorial around her bedding and food, especially when she felt her kittens might be at risk. While this behavior isn`t uncommon in a protective mother cat, it`s an important part of her history.Since her kittens have been adopted, Cardi has undergone a wonderful transformation. She has settled into a calm, affectionate cat who enjoys spending time with people she trusts.Cardi is currently our office cat, where she`s thriving in a quieter environment outside the shelter. She happily keeps us company throughout the day, supervises computer work, and enjoys being part of the daily routine.Because of her history, Cardi will do best with someone who understands cat body language and is willing to let her set the pace. She prefers slow, gentle movements when being petted and appreciates having her personal space respected.
