He thrives in a calm, cozy environment where he can lounge, nap, and soak up affection. Otis is looking for a home without other cats. He does have a significant heart murmur due to underlying cardiac disease, and he is currently managed on a blood thinner to support his condition. He will need a dedicated caregiver who can continue his medication.Despite his medical need, Otis is a wonderful companion with a warm, easygoing nature, and he brings a quiet kind of joy to those around him.

He’d do best in a quieter household without young children or other pets, though mellow animals who respect his space may be okay with a slow, thoughtful introduction. Jonesy has a history of hyperthyroidism, which is currently well managed with medication.
