Story
Winter is a stunning senior lady! This 12-year-old is independent and likes to keep to herself most of the time but that's not to say that she's not curious about what's going on around her. She just prefers to watch from a distance. She loves mealtime and treats, and chasing her ribbon wand toy.  Unfortunately, Winter tested positive for both Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV). There is no cure for FeLV and we don't know how much longer we have with this sweet lady! If you'd like to learn more about FeLV and FIV in cats, please refer to the links below: https://www.vet.cornell.edu/departments-centers-and-institutes/cornell-feline-health-center/health-information/feline-health-topics/feline-leukemia-virus https://www.vet.cornell.edu/departments-centers-and-institutes/cornell-feline-health-center/health-information/feline-health-topics/feline-immunodeficiency-virus-fiv Winter also had some mammary tumors that turned out to be grade II carcinomas. While the tumors were completely excised, there was vascular invasion which means that there is cancer floating around in her bloodstream waiting to land and take root somewhere. Winter is a hospice cat and we're looking for a loving and patient home for her where she can continue to live out the rest of her days in peace. With a slow and proper introduction, Winter would do okay with another FeLV positive cat. She is currently being fostered in Brighton. Apply for cats at www.carmah.org All cats are first come first serve; sorry, we cannot reserve cats.  Hello, I'm Tabitha, a sweet affectionate girl. Pardon my appearance, I thought going and running the streets was a good idea and messed up my beautiful long fur. The humans have gotten out the mats, and soon my long luscious locks will be back! What can I say about me? Ohhh, I love attention! I love to be picked up and pat! There's really nothing I can say bad about myself. I really am the best! Story
Darlings, I'm Henrietta, the Grand Duchess of my foster home. I'm as sweet as a sugar cookie, though I have a streak of sass. In my younger years I was an active spunky girl; I've since mellowed out, preferring a good nap over zoomies. Being the only pet, I get all the love and attention, which is purrfect for an independent lady like me. Now, I'm ready for a home where I can be the queen I am. Adopt me, and I promise, life will never be dull!

Story
Introducing the queen, Aurora! This sweet little lady likes to be the center of attention. With her beautiful calico coloration and long soft hair, she deserves to be the star! She does not want to share people and wants to make sure their eyes are on her (trust us, you don't want to miss her silly antics!) Aurora loves to play especially with wand toys and any toy with cat nip. This girl is also super smart and loves to do training and learn fun kitty tricks! Once her mind and body is tuckered out, she enjoys some pets and snuggles. In her future home, Aurora is looking for teens or older who can help play with her and keep her entertained! She may even be open to a dog sibling (as long as they know she's the queen and to give her space). No cats for this lady though, she likes to be the only feline around! If you think Aurora could be the sunshine you've been missing in your life, please start the process today!
