Meet Snowy! Snowy has been with us since July, and this sweet girl is still learning to feel comfortable and trust the people around her. She has lived in a home before, but she is a very cautious girl who needs plenty of time to feel safe and let her personality shine. Snowy could take months to fully come out of her shell, so her future family will need to be patient and willing to let her set the pace.Snowy has already made some wonderful progress! A few of our staff members can now gently scratch her head and neck, and she will even seek people out at times. She’s learning that people can be a good thing—but Snowy likes to be in control of the interaction. She is not a lap cat, does not want to be picked up, and will absolutely let you know when she wants to be pet!Snowy is looking for a quiet, calm home with no other pets and no young children. She likes her boundaries respected and needs someone who understands that she may not always want to be touched or interacted with. When Snowy wants attention, she’ll let you know!Her ideal home will be one that understands that trust takes time. Snowy may not greet you with cuddles right away, but watching her slowly build confidence and choose to interact with you is incredibly rewarding. If you’re looking for a cat who needs a little extra patience and are willing to let a relationship develop on her terms, Snowy may be the girl for you. She has already come so far, and we can’t wait to see how much more she blossoms with someone who gives her the time and space she deserves.
