Meet Sushi – the Handsome Gentleman with a Heart of Gold!Sushi is a charming, cuddle-loving sweetheart who’s ready to find his forever home. This dapper fellow may grumble from time to time and occasionally sound like a little butthead, but don’t let his tough-guy act fool you—he absolutely melts under a gentle touch and loves soaking up attention.Sushi has a sensitive tummy, so wet food and treats aren’t his thing, but he’s perfectly content with his regular meals and lots of love.He enjoys the company of other cats and would be delighted to have a feline friend to curl up with. That said, he’s just as happy living life as a spoiled solo prince, receiving all the affection he can get.If you’re looking for a affectionate, quirky, and utterly endearing companion, Sushi might just be the perfect match!FMAR felines are spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated for age-appropriate shots, and negative for FIV/FeLV.

She loves to play with toys, chase bells, and jump around. She's so fun and friendly. She loves her feline friends and doesn't mind friendly dogs. She can't wait to meet you! Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed. The Petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our animals. Visual breed identification in animals is unreliable so for most of the animals we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each animal as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our animals based on personality, not by breed label. Thank you for looking through our list of animals needing forever homes and choosing rescue first. We appreciate you stopping by. December 5, 2025, 9:35 am

Visit our FAQ webpage for commonly asked questions about our adoption/foster process. &#226&#128&#139Miss Elvira is looking for her purrfect fur-ever home!  She has been with us approximately 5 months. She had been surrendered to an animal shelter by her family because they were moving. When she came to Last Day Dog Rescue, she was extremely fearful, wanting to hiss at and scratch everyone. After allowing her time to decompress in the fosters home, she has mellowed out somewhat, and is friendlier, wanting to be petted and jump up into your lap! She is a long haired beautiful calico and enjoys being stroked gently. She prefers not to be picked up and held though. Elvira appears large because of all her fur, but weighs about 12 lbs and is estimated to be around 3 years old. Her foster has 3 other cats and a dog and she and another female cat will hiss and growl at each other so they are kept separate in the home. She is a curious and independent cat! We recommend a quieter home for Elvira with no other pets, no children (or older kids only), and a family who will be patient with her. She is spayed, is up-to-date on vaccinations, has been dewormed, and is FeLV/FIV negative. If you are interested in meeting this beautiful girl, please complete an adoption application at www.lastdaydogrescue.org.
