She had been surrendered to an animal shelter by her family because they were moving. When she came to Last Day Dog Rescue, she was extremely fearful, wanting to hiss at and scratch everyone. After allowing her time to decompress in the fosters home, she has mellowed out somewhat, and is friendlier, wanting to be petted and jump up into your lap! She is a long haired beautiful calico and enjoys being stroked gently. She prefers not to be picked up and held though. Elvira appears large because of all her fur, but weighs about 12 lbs and is estimated to be around 3 years old. Her foster has 3 other cats and a dog and she and another female cat will hiss and growl at each other so they are kept separate in the home. She is a curious and independent cat! We recommend a quieter home for Elvira with no other pets, no children (or older kids only), and a family who will be patient with her. She is spayed, is up-to-date on vaccinations, has been dewormed, and is FeLV/FIV negative. She is very affectionate and will swish around your feet, head bump you and lean into you. She loves pets and may even give you a little kiss, after she decides she trusts you. Whisper is a young cat and when she really wants attention she may give a little nip or swat now and then. She has a lot of cattitude . She is curious and likes to know what you are doing and nose around near you. She loves playing with toys. . This is a form the adopter signs at the time of adoption, confirming that they will get the pet spayed/neutered by a certain date. We will hold a $50 deposit on top of the adoption fee until we receive proof from a veterinarian that the dog was spayed/neutered. The $50 deposit will then be returned to the adopter.&#226&#128&#139 Elvah is one of the 6 cuties born to Savannah their pretty mom . Elvah is a fun little girl who will have that long silky hair when fully grown . She has adventure in her soul and the whim to want to want to play all day and also to get attention from the humans in the home where she is being fostered . Her and her siblings will be ready for adoption soon when they reach at least 8 weeks old . You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet momma Savannah! She came to our rescue after a neighbor saw the owner put her outside with her three kittens. She was out a few days before she was brought to us with her babies . She was a great mom and her kittens were quickly adopted after they were vetted . But when I took her for some routine vaccines I realized she looked rather round and suspected she was pregnant again and was impregnated when her owner threw her out. A few weeks later Savannah had 6 beautiful babies that are now available for adoption . Its her turn now to find a permanent home where she is loved and spoiled. Savannah is a very sweet girl who loves attention and lots of pets, litter boxed trained and friendly with other cats . Nora is an energetic and affectionate kitten, she is spayed, vaccinated, no fiv or leukemia, microchipped, and looking for a family to love her. She likes long afternoons on a windowsill to watch the squirrels and birds, and evening snuggles with her humans. A kitty cuddle is always welcome too, if a kitty sibling is available.
