Story
Meet Cletus — a quirky, chatty little guy with a big personality and an even bigger heart.
Cletus may have started out shy and quiet, but these days he’s found his voice — and he uses it. Instead of a typical meow, he has the cutest little trill that he’ll happily share when he’s hungry, feeling social, or just has something important to say (which is often).
He’s a devoted companion who loves being near his person. Cletus will lean against your legs, follow you from room to room, and make sure you’re never alone—especially around mealtime, which he takes very seriously. During the day, he’s more of a professional napper, but come evening, he’s ready to be up, active, and keeping you company. Cletus does okay with friendly female cats.
Cletus enjoys gentle pets and has a soft spot for plush pillow toys. He can be a little shy when meeting new people, but with time and patience, his sweet and affectionate nature really shines through. He’s still working on a couple of “kitten habits” like occasional nibbling and testing out the countertops, but he’s making good progress with consistency and guidance.
Cletus does have some special medical needs that will require a committed adopter. He must stay on a wet prescription diet only, as he doesn’t drink enough water on his own, and proper hydration is very important for his health. His adopter will also need to monitor his urinary habits to ensure everything stays on track.
Cletus is looking for a patient, attentive home that will embrace all of his endearing quirks and give him the structure he needs to thrive. In return, you’ll get a loyal little shadow, plenty of adorable trills, and a one-of-a-kind companion who will truly bond with his person.
