He is part of a bonded pair with Teddy-Bear —  Click here to learn more about Teddy-Bear! Toots is an indoor kitty who is 7 years old...he is looking for his second chance at life! We would describe Toots as kinda like a ditzy teenager....he doesn't think through all his choices and therefore does many cute and silly things. But his best pal Teddy-Bear is always there to rescue him! After every meal Teddy-Bear gives him a bath and then they cuddle up and take a long snooze. Opposites attract they say! Check out is cute video of Toots and this video of Toots and Teddy-Bear.  Oh, and this one too!  Toots was an owner surrender. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Introducing Sorbet, a lovely young long-haired kitty with a soft orange and white coat that’s as sweet as her name! Rescued as a stray, Sorbet was found alongside another cat, though they’re not particularly bonded. A gentle soul, Sorbet prefers a slow introduction to new feline companions to help her adjust. Sorbet is a bit on the shy side and initially seeks solace in her cozy hidey holes, where she can observe her surroundings from a safe distance. Once she feels secure, she’ll venture out to enjoy her meals and seek out some attention. Her reserved nature means that patience and understanding will go a long way in helping her feel at home. With time and care, Sorbet will blossom into a loving and devoted companion, delighting you with her soft fur and endearing personality. If you’re looking for a sweet, gentle cat who appreciates a calm environment and a little extra patience, Sorbet is ready to add a touch of warmth and charm to your life. Sorbet is from a stray surrender with her brother. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application.  An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. *This animal is located at our same-day adoption center partner, Coon Rapids PetSmart. Please contact this location prior to visiting to ensure this animal is still available. A paper adoption application will be completed on site so please do not submit an online adoption application. For more information on adopting from one of our adoption center partners, please visit our Adoption Center Animals page. Chubby is a lovely 10-year-old cat with luxurious dark brown and black long-haired fur and beautiful white markings. He was surrendered after their human passed away. While Chubby is taking a little longer to adjust to his new environment he is beginning to accept gentle pets from his human friends. He tends to be more timid and shy, often seeking comfort by hiding behind his bed or litter box for a sense of safety. Chubby doesn’t seem to mind the other cats in the room, but slow introductions are recommended to help him feel secure. His history with kids and dogs is unknown, so a calm and patient home would be ideal for him. If you’re looking for a sweet and gentle companion who just needs a little extra time and love to come out of his shell, Chubby is the perfect match for you! Chubby is from an owner surrender with her sister. To learn more about Ruff Start’s adoption process and the care our foster animals receive, please visit our How to Adopt page. If you are unable to adopt but want to help this animal and others in our care, you can donate to support the medical and veterinary needs of all Ruff Start Rescue animals.   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 3, 2024, 10:15 pm

Story
Hello, My name is Wilder. My sister Waverly were found as strays with bad URIs. They have since been treated but my left eye has a bit of my third eyelid come up to protect it. No surgery is needed at this time but may in the future if it affects the health of my eye. I am a VERY friendly, affectionate, purr machine. Named Wilder for a reason. I LOVE to play, climb(up legs) but on the opposite side of that I purr and love with gusto. I hope you choose to look past our imperfections and adopt us/me.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 2, 2024, 8:25 pm
