Leon is truly an amazing and beautiful cat; the kind of companion who fills a home with warmth. He has a gentle spirit, the softest coat, and expressive eyes that seem to understand everything you say. He is affectionate without being demanding, playful when you’re in the mood, and wonderfully calm when you are not. He is an indoor/outdoor cat who absolutely loves the freedom to explore; he is highly intelligent, curious, and enjoys spending time outside observing everything around him. But no matter how much fun he has on his little adventures, he always loves coming home to his family, ready to curl up and relax with the people he trusts. I feel that he would do well with someone as a barn cat or someone with a big backyard!

 ALL our cats and dogs are in the NY area but can be adopted out of state to the purrfect furever home.  In some cases, we can help transport.  Zani's al fresco Summer Adoptions  follow us on FB to find us this summer as we will try new locations to meet the needs of NYC and support the little stores:)     Kindly is so named for his being extraordinarily kind!  A 2.5y Purrsian mix, he arrives Jan 26th with his friends from Saudi Arabia.  He is very playful so must go to a home that enjoys his energy and ideally with another cat or to a cat home with another playful kitty.  He did have an eye injury but you'd never know it today as he had an eyelid flap operation and is now good as new: History: found abandoned in a garden and some kids were hitting him! Being a friendly house cat, he didn’t realize that they wanted to kick him which was a devastating thing to witness. I immediately took him in. He loves to play. I think he has a kitten spirit. Some of the cats are bothered by his energy so he is best suited with a cat that matches his energy. After treatment he spent days sleeping in bed which was heartbreaking because we felt he waited to be safe again for too long. He is a super gentle and kind soul. He is great with other cats and children. Meet Gemma! This lovely girl is just a little over a year old and has already proven herself to be a wonderful mom! She’s affectionate, gentle, and always seeking attention — especially nose kisses and head scratches. She loves to be near her person, whether it’s lounging beside you on the bed or curling up by your feet. She’s not a fan of being held for long, but she’s happy to be picked up when needed (like for carrier trips). When it’s mealtime, you’ll definitely know — she’s very vocal and loves her food and treats! She’s playful but tends to let the kittens have the spotlight, watching them with sweet patience. Vaccinated; FVRCP (Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, Panleukopenia) & Rabies (which is legally required in most states).  These will need to be kept current after adoption.
